Ugh....the torture this e-bay seller is putting me through (1/2 joking). The buyer of that Atlantic Lily last month said that when she received it it was too large for her so she turned around and listed it....I was high bidder on it, and now just 12 hrs. before the auction ends, she de-lists it (not sure if that's the right term).....Wah, Wah, Wah (that's supposed to be the Let's Make a Deal Sound when the contestant doesn't pick the right door). SO CLOSE .........but yet so far. I fear I shall never get my hands on one of these babies before I die:tdown:

She's a scammer. Through and Through. Numerous IDs, name changes, etc.

Well, that makes me feel better noshoepolish, thanks for that info! You know I didn't even think to look at her seller ID history.

ETA- OMG, I need to be a better detective...I just saw the seller ID's other ID (which looked familiar from TPF), and did a search here....NOW I remember all this! It's a blessing in disguise I see. Thanks again!

OK, I am really confused now....I don't want to get in trouble on here for calling out a seller, but since the seller of this most recent listing of the Atlantic Lily bought it from this older listing (back in January)

http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-5...454?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item27c24a8df6http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...BqnnqMM28B8ui%2BsY2f8%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

and this seller left feedback as if she had purchased it from them, does that mean that the other sale was some type of scam too (I had bid on that one too) ? I just want to understand what's going on in case someone ELSE lists this bag again. TIA!

ETA- OK I just compared the two creeds from the two diff. listings and the legacy stripe colors around the creed are different between the two (although the plant number on both creed pics. is the same), but the seller of the most recent bag says she bought it from the earlier listing, so the legacy stripe color pattern around the creed should be exactly the same, no? Is someone using stolen pics? I'm so confused.....

Go up to the eBay section and read the Legacy Scammer post. I am not sure what she is up to.

Ah, thank you for pointing that thread out to me....guess that's it for me and Atlantic Lily then, I'd be too gun-shy to bid on any of these that might come up in the future....I did learn a lesson though- to check people's ID history, never really thought to do that before!

I was on my iPhone so I could not post the link.

They are up to no good.

Perhaps the linings were really dirty or stained? Seems weird that both bags would end up like that!
Whenever I see legacy bags for sale, the first thing I look for is the lining. If the bag is a legacy style but doesn't have the stripe, I get disappointed. I have wanted to take the bag to Coach and ask them to replace the lining with the stripes! That was my first thought when I saw these - that someone took the lining to put in another bag.
