In case, the listing or pictures disappear, this is the description:

CONDITION: This bag is in Good used conditon. The leather and jacquard look nice, just a little soft scuffing/ darkening to the leather trim (see pics), nothing major. The hardware is functional. The inside is clean and undamaged.

And the picture you should see that shows the condition:

While browsing at Savers today, I was checking out the bags and found this loverly one!

It's Dooney on the front and Coach on the inside. (There had to be at least a dozen zipper pulls, all with "Coach")

Hi, I am looking for some advice. I don't want to go to the ebay forum, I feel more comfortable here for now.
I BIN'ed a bag yesterday that was a steal. The seller cancelled the order in less than an hour, saying that she used an ipad for the 1st time to list a bag, it was an error, etc. I am fine with that, I have plenty of purses to keep me happy, and stuff happens. My problem is the refund. My paypal is connected to my checking account, and the $$ came out this morning. I waited to contact the seller until I checked my account, so I just sent her an email. I was honest and said I have never had a purchase on ebay cancelled before (I have bought under 50 items over several years), and I want to know how she is going to handle it. What should I do next?
TIA, and sigh, purses are supposed to be fun and make me happy and this is kind of the opposite....

If she refunds you will get an e-mail stating so. It takes up to 4 days to go back into your account, maybe longer.

okay..thanks for your quick reply. She has over 1,000 feedbacks with a 100% rating, so I am thinking she is honest.
I'm assuming that since you say the payment came out of your account today, you made the payment as an e-check. In my experience, the seller/recipient of an echeck doesn't show clearance of the payment until the 4th day following payment although the money will show as having been debited from your account sooner, usually a day or two earlier. So on the fourth day (Friday), she'll have the money and be able to refund you.

Thus, although the money has been removed from your account, it probably isn't yet showing as cleared in the seller's PP account. Therefore, I don't believe she's able to issue a refund yet. (You have the funds in your account so the money was debited. The reason for the 4-day processing time is to allow for bounced checks, in case that happens.)

Once the funds do clear for her, she can go to the details of the transaction, scroll down to "issue refund" and process it. Once done, it won't go back to your bank account but will be in your PP.
