She bought it off of shopgoodwill.com for $67.00. Seems like a huge hassle for not a lot of money.
I think people really have no idea that after fees they end up at a loss. It is pretty smart of ebay to charge the fees separately instead of deducting them from the payment. Maybe the seller thought she was going to use the bag until she found out how small it is. I've never used mine but it is so cute!

I've been considering this one. It looks in good condition. Pity it doesn't have striped lining - but if it did it would be $50 more.

TBH, and this may be taboo in vintage CoachWorld, I don't like the striped lining ... or the kisslocks. Kisslocks make the bags look like they're frowning to me. :shame: So, I like this bag, but it's too small for me. I don't want to buy anything I won't use.

If I get another bag, it'll be a black Madison Copley, but I'm not in any rush. I have five great bags: a Chanel (hobo, non-quilted, caviar leather), khaki/army green LV Josephine PM Mini Lin, pink Kristin hobo, hunter green slim bucket shoulder bag and Madison satchel. Small but quality collection.

Hey, each to their own! Coach has made some weird, umm, I mean, eclectic bags! I never thought of a bag frowning, but you're right, perhaps they should put the kisslock in upside down and make it smile:smile1: I only have two kiss locks, and interestingly they are the only ones that my DH really likes.

I don't use many of my older Coach bags I just like rehabbing them and looking at them. I want one with the madras lining and a double header just to complement my small collection. Then I'll stop...I will ...really I will...

The Italian bags are TDF. I can see why you're waiting for a Madison Copley it's a gorgeous bag and even better if you can use it.

I used my two-tone Bonnie inspired retro stroll tote today, and I could imagine people wondering why anyone would carry it! It is something you either love or think is really tacky! It doesn't have kisslocks but the two-tone is a bit over the top. I would love it even more if it had the striped lining, like the original version.

I have several bags I've never carried. I think I've carried one of my geometrics once. I like seeing them all lined up together on the shelf.

I tend to be conservative with my fashion choices ... always have been. So the geometrics don't appeal to me, either. They're not ME, ya know? I have my own style and like things that fit that style.

Yeah, I like the Willis, but I only need one black bag and I'd rather have a Copley. I'm not one to have multiple bags in the same color. If I got the Willis, I'd still want a Copley but then I'd already have a black bag so it really wouldn't make much sense to me to get another one. So, may as well go for the gusto.

Until about a year ago I was happy with one bag for summer and one for winter and a couple of others for whenever. I was looking for a new winter bag and couldn't find anything in the stores that I liked or could afford and I bought a couple off ebay Australia and returned them because they were either fake or crapola. Then I bought a Brahmin satchel from a US seller and was so happy with it that I kept looking on ebay.com. Once I discovered Coach and this Forum I was done for. Now it's like "What have I been missing out on all these years? A woman has to have nice handbags - they are an extension of our bodies and souls." LOL! That's my reasoning anyway.

This is the first time I've had several bags. I usually only carry one. Up until a couple of months ago, I only carried my pink Kristin hobo. Before that I had a D&B I carried about 10 years until it fell apart.

Aside from the Copley, I'm content with what I have. And I don't have to have a Copley. If I don't get one, it's all good. I try to balance want and need/practicality. My finances require it. My goal was to have several bags that are high quality, understated, classic, different colors, uncommon and can be resold if I need to. I'm pretty much there.
