That's got to be a mistake but I can't believe all those people are bidding without telling the seller to correct it. I guess they still feel that $275 is a decent price.

I contacted the seller and ask if shipping was $200.00. The reply was "Yeah". Is the seller not aware that ebay will take their fees off of shipping charge too.

It's ending in 52 min. Love to see how much it's sold for.

Maybe nobody says a thing so to keep bidding price low. Once they win the bidding then they can dispute the outrageous shipping fee? Just a guess...

I happily wore one just like that to a wedding today, except mine is a large carnelian duffle. Indeed it was the very first time I went out with my beloved very first Coach (I've been carrying generic school backpacks all these years and I'm 40!). Love the great price I got from FOS for such quality and functionality. But my heart sank a bit when I walked by some friends, all have been sporting everything name-brand probably for all their lives. Two of them bursted out, "180?" "189?" I was like, "Huh?" Then I realize they're talking about the price. I said, "$179" and that was the end of conversation! I walked away feeling very awkward.

I know my new collections probably will never beat those ladies who are willing to make frequent 5 hour trips into the cities to shop at outlet stores. But I will for sure enjoy my duffle and the $84 Daisy Applique Pocket Tote to the fullest, and resist the temptation of ordering something not my style and/or in my budget range just to impress them.

By the way that eBay duffle was just sold for $80 + $200 shipping

That might be the price you paid but that's not the true value. And, they did not deserve a response IMO.

buyer beware...right now it is at a great bidding price - but $200 shipping wth?

Not a mistake. She tried to sell it a week prior with reasonable shipping and it went unsold.

Did you notice that she already got negged for it?

Last week $199.00 starting bid + $7.50 shipping---> 0 bids
This time $2 starting bid + $200 shipping ---> 23 bids ---> $80 winning bid + $200 shipping

I guess the change of tactic worked super well for this seller, at the cost of a bad feedback. I bet the buyer will continue to fight for a partial refund on shipping, and seller might be willing, or even already prepared, to negotiate to get that neg removed.

Yes, especially since she got almost $75 more than her original asking price.

Super well? I'm not sure the tactic worked. I doubt the buyer paid for it and the tactic only served to have a p.o'ed buyer.
