I'm just gonna say it, this makes me sad. I wish there was a way to salvage this, but I doubt it. I can't figure what would cause the discoloration this badly? Soaking it? Eta- I'm wondering if it's soap b/c I can't imagine water doing this? Poor Gigi, I hope she lived a good life. :nogood:

How sad! It looks like someone ran over it with a semi! Can't believe they are asking $125 for it.

I saw this! And posted the same question in the Rehab Thread >_< Made me sad too

I saw that too. Very sad. Maybe the person who did the one Gigi a few years ago will do this one?

Good grief. This is from the description. I don't consider it to be charming.

If you ask me, it actually adds to the charm of the bag and makes it look weathered.

That is interesting. I wonder why they put crystals on the bag? And how one knows it's authentic and if the proceeds go where stated. I can't imagine walking up to him at a concert asking to sign my Coach purse though, how funny! :roflmfao:
Actually, that's a disallowed charity listing. Charity listings have guidelines they have to follow and this one doesn't abide:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/fundraising.html

They can have non-giving works listings, but there are rules:
Charity listings without eBay Giving Works

iconAllowed_25x25.gif

Allowed
You can list items for charity without eBay Giving Works if:

  • You're soliciting on behalf of recognized, tax-deductible charitable organizations (for example, 501(c)(3) or equivalent status with the IRS).
  • You receive advance written consent from the charitable organization for the solicitation—and include the following information in your listing:
    • A readable photo or scanned image of the written consent. (This proof can't be a link to a website.) The letter must be on the charity's letterhead and signed by one of the organization's officers
    • The charity's tax-deductibility status
    • Your name or eBay user ID, dates of event or listings, and the donation amount (percentage of the final sale price) you'll be donating if your item sells

This was a post made on the deals thread. I'm not too familiar with the bag posted as a "find" so I'm not completely sure of authenticity but before anyone buys from suitgirl5, you might want to check out her history.

She has this current fake listed:

And she sold this one:

You're right, she has sold (and is trying to sell) laughably fake Coach bags. However, this Bleecker Tattersall Travel Tote is identical (minus the missing hangtags) to the one I sold NWT awhile back. :smile1:

ETA: that being said, I don't think one should support sellers that sell both fake and authentic bags.

Thanks for the info on the tattersall tote. I wasn't sure of that one but as you noticed, the others are certainly laughable!

Anyone know the name of the keychain?
Style number is 1K02 and I believe the style name is simply oversized leather charms kf

Here's a tag from one that had been purchased at the outlets:

If you plan on purchasing, you might want to ask the seller if it's missing the lozenge hangtag. (I didn't notice it as missing at first. It could be hidden behind.)

This is what it's supposed to look like:
