You apparently order and can get a random vintage coach bag based on the comments? Seems interesting, but I guess I'd rather stalk ebay if I was looking for something specific... but if you're into surprises it might be fun ahah my boyfriend got me a diamond candle for Christmas which kind of reminds me of this concept, except you get a surprise ring inside the candle instead of a mystery bag!

Interesting idea! However most vintage bags on ebay sell for less than that unless they are a special style or interesting color. It sounds like a lot of these aren't in very good condition.

Thats exactly what I was thinking too! That's a lot of money for something that may arrive with damage! Although, I guess if maybe you didn't want to deal with ebay or those types of sites, you could try this so you could easily return it. I just thought it was kind of random and figured if anyone had done it, it would probably be someone from tpf!

I bought a snowflake fob in eBay, received today.
The price I won is 21.5 plus S/H. After opened the package, I found a price tag on it.
The retail price is 38, but there is also a handwritten price 9.99.

This is incredible, I felt upset when I saw it.
I wrote message to the seller, told her it's not right.
I gently gave her advice that she at least should remove the tag.
And she replied that she's glad I like the fob.
She'll remove the tag next time.

Just wanna ask, if you were me, what would you do?
And is anything I could do to report to eBay?

Seller should have cut the tag but you should have done your research. There is nothing to report to eBay. Unless someone is cleaning out their closets, sellers want to make a profit. They have to pay eBay and PayPal fees.

PS most wintery holiday key fobs go on sale right after Christmas. Next time go there and buy one yourself.

The seller didn't violate any ebay rules. You paid a price you were willing to pay for the item, which was less than retail. The seller had to pay ebay and paypal fees. She is running a business. If she didn't make a profit, what incentive would she have to sell it to you?

Agree with above. There is nothing to report to eBay. You decided to pay the price. Seller is there to make a profit not be a personal shopper.

Thanks for the opinion ! I did do research, that's why I decide to buy it.
I understand seller need to pay ebay and PayPal fees, and she really need to make profit.
Just over 100% profit is really out of my expectation.

Thanks again ladies for the great opinions!!
