Last week I went to the closest outlet (San Marcos Premium outlets) to look for a handbag for my MIL for Christmas (her first Coach ever). The SA approached me and asked if I needed any help or looking for anything in particular. I started to describe my MIL's style: brown tote, leather. She had a "thinking" look on her face and said "I'll be right back, I'm going to look in the back." She brought out the Madison leather tote in acorn. Perfect! She said she was holding it for herself, but really didn't need it. But if I changed my mind just hand it back to her. What a nice SA. After the 30% off and add'l 10% it was $112! I was so happy! I had held back during the 25% PCE in the past in hopes of finding it at the outlet.

Both :D Once she was on my mind I started noticing her a lot more, so I figured I'd post what I'd found ...I didn't see a pic of your new one tho?? Am I looking in the wrong place?

Hmm...the pic is attached to the post you just quoted...I'm not sure why you can't see it. I also posted a pic of her in another thread http://forum.purseblog.com/coach/coach-miranda-satchel-is-she-still-stylish-737327-3.html, so you might be able to see the pic of her there.

I don't know if that link will work (first time trying to post from phone) but if you search "coach caroline" on ebay it is the one that says pleated gathered in brown. It looks like aubergine to me. Maybe someone thought it was brown? And two dust bags too.

Weird...the pics show hangtags, dowel ends and strap wrapped in plastic. Doesn't Coach only wrap with tissue paper? And the bottom of the bag looks off, like it was three pieces put together?

I have only seen the tissue paper on mine. And I was looking at the listing on my phone, so I can't see details that well. I'll have to go back and look now that you mention the bottom looking like pieces.

Note that the creed shows a serial number indicating manufacture in 2008 as a boutique bag.

In fact, it's a MFF style from 2007.

Additionally, the text on the creed states that it's a leather bag.
