For me it is. I am so happy when someone scores something they liked, I live through these events because none of us can afford a lot themselves but as a group we can. And on occasion we recognize the bag and the seller from here and we are sure the bag is authentic and cared for. Also, I learn so much every day and dare take simple improvements into my hands. Something exciting is going on every day. No other forum is close to this one.I just hope we'll all still love each other in the end, haha. No cut-throat competition here, puhlease. I just meant to say that I hope this sub will always be a place "to come home to". I don't have anyone in my day to day live to share my love for purses with. I would be heartbroken, if that changes and I couldn't come on here to just vent, ask dumb questions or message my lovelies, even with just a simple "hey, how you doing?"
I never felt so comfy in any other sub the way I do here.

... and the Bal subforum is especially kind and generous with sharing finds AND information.
I've tried to explain to DH about how important and crazy some of these finds are and it's always met with eyes glazing over and a "protein_, there will be another"... but we all know that's not always true.

This Bal subforum is truly amazing and only possible because of all of you.
Hard to tell, but I don't think this is authentic given the one pic where you can see the one bale a bit better (and the general shape looks a little off) and at least one other flag. But wanted to post here for second opinions.
this forum was the one i "came home to" after a hiatus a few years back.
i lurked in this forum when i was young, hoping to one day be able to own just one beautiful bal
(now happy to say i own a few)
i still lurk much more than i post, but when i returned to TPF, the bal forum is the first place i came!
everyone here is so helpful & friendly. the other forums get a little...catty.

I love the community here. Everyone’s friendliness and shared interest in Bals make me carry my oldies more often than I would otherwise.
