Hi everyone! I was wondering if someone can help me. I just bought a purple City on Vestaire for a great price. Then I was just scrolling eBay and found a listing with the exact same photos from a different seller! I tried to contact the seller of the bag I purchased, but it says "seller is no longer able to receive messages". WTH?! I don't know what to do, bc whose pix are the real pix? And I can't contact the seller? So who knows what I would actually be receiving.... Should I cancel my order on Vestaire?

.....I have since looked at the eBay seller's other items for sale and she has another item with that cream colored fluffy faux fur background, so it seems the Vestaire seller stole her images. I can't contact the Vestaire seller, so I will try to cancel the order.

Have you contacted the ebay seller? I would do that first to confirm.

I tried to contact her, but there was a prompt that the seller is no longer able to receive messages, so I contacted Vestaire. The rep said the seller violated messaging rules so she is now permanently banned from messaging on Vestaire. I had to provide the eBay link to Vestaire to show the images are the same, then they will reach out to her to provide more pix of the actual bag that are different from the pix in both listings..... and so now I just wait...

Is that the famous seller mentioned so many times in chats for threats to “lowballers “ ? I think it is the same Katie….rude to buyers, rude to VC

Wow, what a class act!! I'm late to the game and just now reading thru those posts about her & her comments, but geez~ she's a bit aggro!
She did cancel my purchase but denied using someone else's pix. The bag has not yet been relisted tho.

The paper tag would officially list it as 05/1 but it is a 2004 holiday metallic Pewter City. :) Just in case it may cause confusion for anyone. It is not the 2005 holiday pewter.
