sitting and eating a hamburger is not 5150....neither is all of the ranting. My understanding is that it has to be grave and imminent danger. I could be wrong...but acting like an idiot and spewing crazy talk would not do it.

the timing of the "raid" and the custody agreement is highly suspect --
I have a feeling it's just like the story I posted above. He & Brooke came to an agreement, part of which says that Charlie cannot have weapons in the home. If he does have 47 firearms licensed to himself, since there's a restraining order currently open against him, the cops came in to remove the weapons -- the weapons would be a violation of his TRO, but more importantly, the cops would take possession of the firearms and can hold them during the terms of the custody agreement

He could get arrested for having them, I believe as soon as the TRO is in place you have to turn them in. But, that would be a hard sell, since she has agreed to meet with him since the TRO has been in place and continued negotiating, from what I understand. It was a good way to get in and get weapons out of his possession, though. Particularly if he was chill about whole thing. I am sure his family and friends will breath easier knowing the guns are safely out of reach.

(Reuters) - Los Angeles police searched the home of Charlie Sheen on Thursday looking for firearms in what they characterized as a check linked to a stay away order issued against the troubled actor last week.

Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman Officer Norma Eisenman said no arrests had been made, but the search was still ongoing Thursday night.

Police arrived at Sheen's home to "investigate a possible violation of a temporary restraining order," Eisenman said.

"Part of the conditions of the temporary restraining order are that you can't have weapons or ammunition, so we're just making sure there are no weapons in the home," she said.

Sheen's ex-wife Brooke Mueller, obtained the stay away order against the actor last week after production on his top-rated TV comedy "Two And A Half Men" was suspended by CBS, a unit of CBS Corp., because he had entered a drug and alcohol rehab program.

In the days since then, Sheen has sharply criticized the producers of the show in public rants, and earlier this week he was fired by the makers of the program, Warner Bros. Television, owned by Time Warner Inc..

His firing prompted Sheen on Thursday morning to file a $100 million lawsuit against Warner Bros and "Two And A Half Men" producer Chuck Lorre, claiming he was wrongfully fired.

Charlie Sheen Says He "Punk'd" The World--His "Insanity" Was An Act

Charlie Sheen's latest revelation may just be the most shocking of all. In a Wednesday night video interview, the former Two and a Half Men star claimed that his over the top antics during the past 2 weeks were merely examples of him doing what he does for a living: acting. In fact, all his bizarre public behavior -- the machete brandishing, the Sheen's Korner ranting, even the continuous "tiger blood" swilling-- were just examples of "how he deals with media." In other words they were publicity stunts, so brilliantly conceived and flawlessly acted that the whole world actually believed they were symptoms of the actor's mental meltdown. They even fooled Dr. Drew Pinsky.

"It wasn't like I was really believing that...it’s a drug called Charlie Sheen," he chuckled, " (and) if you take it your face will melt off and you'll weep over your exploded body!”

On the contrary. It all meant nothing at all. The bizarre combinations of obscure words and weirdly constructed phrases were merely ways "to amuse himself and get people talking." And his so-called "meltdown" was an illusion he created for the purpose of dealing with a "transparent and predictable media." Or as Charlie calls it: "a fake engage...a fen-gage. It’s about all those b******* words sounding cool all put together. It’s about shock value..."

When asked how Sheen thinks the media regards him --especially after his deliberate manipulation of them, he replied sarcastically:

"They love me, they just love me. It’s a big, warm hug. It’s like a nude Jacuzzi.”

So, there you have it. Did Charlie Sheen "punk'd" the world so well that the world actually fell for it? Or is this latest revelation just another example of his pathological grandiosity and possibly drug-induced self-mythologizing?

You can watch the video of his Charlie Sheen's confession on the Radar Online website and decide for yourself. But be warned; it's a hard call.

That Brooke chic is is just as messed up as he is and I think she is just taking advantage of a situation. The kids don't need to be with her either.

also, wasn't she filming her reality show with Paris Hilton? This will all probably be footage on the show.

I went to ebay today to check an auction that I am bidding on that is ending soon....and what was on my homepage in BIG ITALICIZED LETTERS...

YOU'RE WINNING

I'm sure it was an ode to Charlie...:D
