I think Vlad is in limbo. The script has been purchased, but it has probably been shelved until they are ready to make it (which may be never.) If Charlie was a bigger star the project would've probably have been fast tracked and greenlit by now.

ejm1059 I think you are right about the piece being overlooked because Charlie isn't that well known. I am not really big on vampires, but Charlie said that it brought Vlad up to , but did not include, the vampire thing. It sounded like it could be another interesting take on Vlad.

Feeling sorry for Charlie. Lots of fans wanting autographs and pictures with him on the set of his movie. Bad when you've got to ask the fans for some privacy cuz they are interfering with the process. How many times do you need your picture taken with him?

Something that I do not understand is why do some adults go so far as to drive hundreds of miles just to touch someone or have their picture made with them because they are a fan of that person.
I am a fan of Charlie and other actors and actresses, but I can admire them from a distance or closer if I pass one on the street, etc..
I can see a teen person going to that length, but I cannot see an adult person doing that.
Someone explain that to me.

Perhaps they feel it might be their one chance to get that close and get that picture or that autograph. So many pictures being posted of Charlie with fans right now. I can understand the seduction of thinking that could be them. A big case for many fans of the "What ifs?"
The cast has been very generous with the fans so far. It's when they ask for some privacy and that is ignored by the fans that creates problems.
