Guess there is a lot of luck and different routes you can take to stardom, but Charlie, after all these years in the business, is not recognized as a Class A actor in any "big time" movies. What would your opinion be as to why he isn't?
sunmeadow and lillygurl, I think it is a great idea, but I don't believe that either of the stars you referred to jumped out of a private life and into stardom and all this time have kept a separate life to Hollywood. I read about one of them and see his picture quite often. Pacific Rim didn't go to DVD/bluray any faster than other movies. It opened on July 12th and was on DVD a little over three months later. That's pretty standard.
sunmeadow, I was only quoting what some "would be expert" stated. I am like you and Will Rogers -" I only know what I read in the papers." Or in this case, the computer.
I don't believe we disagree on our opinions of Charlie; he can fight his own battles but most of us do not understand what creates a success in Hollywood. I just hope that whatever it is, he has it.
lillygurl, Who is going to be the lead in Sutter's new TV series? Would be great if it is Charlie.
