I love that he actually looks (or at least pretends to be) happy to take pictures with fans.

I think it's genuine. He never complained about this kind of attention nor about the paps who luckily don't follow him as much as others. I think he loves the encounters with the fans because it shows him they appreciate his work and he is watched regularly by lots of people.
But I wonder if he's even happier to take those pictures back in the "motherland" because it proves some kind of recognition by his own people.

His smile does seem genuine. More actors should be like this. I'm sure some fans can be annoying but I hate when actors act like their fans are a nuisance.

Charlie is such a champ. He does these bike show appearances and some of these women are THIRSTY. I remember one woman had him sign her vibrator :nogood: I know he's getting paid to do those shows but he actually takes the time to talk to his fans and seems very genuine (despite how tired he gets) My sweetie :hbeat:

What? :amazed: I really hope it was brand new.

Are you kidding?! Freakshow. Does anyone else get aloof around celebrities? I talk a good game but when I actually do meet them through work or otherwise, I tend to get unconsciously aloof like I want to be the opposite of fangirly so I end up going in the other direction, not rude but just impersonal. Also helps that a lot of them are douches in person.

Some people are just desperate.

I turn mostly shy. Though I've mainly met athletes and somehow my first thought always is don't disturb them in their private time. Yes, I'm very considerate. :p

It's not intentional but I do it all the time. I have noticed the more aloof I am the more determined actors are to carry on a conversation.

I think that has to do with the stereotype of actors being insecure (secretly) and wanting to please everyone. So by carrying on the conversation they want to prove they have a great personality or character.
