I've seen the trailer, I haven't watched it....the trailer didn't really interest me tbh. I'd give it a chance if he's not playing the same Jax character.
He was said to have given a more nuanced performance that was different to his usual roles.
Maybe I'll watch. TBH, I'm leery whenever someone claims he's more dynamic or nuanced or whatever in a role....he's kind of a bad actor tbh.
Well the movie on the whole was suppose to be good so even if you don't enjoy Charlie's performance you will like the rest.
I read the book as a kid - my Dad gave it to me. I can't wait to see it - the trailer looks great.
Yeah I've also read the book and am looking forward to it.
TBH I'm going more because of who the director/producers are not necessarily the actors. I thought Cumberbatch was a good choice when he was attached to it... Hunnam is not a deal breaker but wouldn't be my first choice.
The director is kinda polarizing... he has an old fashioned style that some people really like and others think is just boring. I've read mixed reactions the film but I still want to see it.
For Hunnam I think he'll need to rack up quite a few more of these type of roles before he gains traction. Doesn't he have the same agent as Michael Fassbender?
