For, what it's worth, I never wear my Woc but I find the picotin to be in frequent rotation. For me, the picotin is such an easy grab and go kind of bag. It also fits quite a bit more than a Woc, so it really depends on what you need to carry and what your preferred esthetic is. Whatever you choose, buy something you love and enjoy your time in Europe!

Very tough...both are great but if I had to choose one over the other as a first, the WOC would be my choice personally because of the strap. My WOC is in Caviar leather and I use it frequently for errands, events, etc. as I can use my hands freely thanks to the strap
This is an easy vote for the Picotin for me. I have an 18 and a 22, and I love them both so much. But, as others have mentioned, they serve totally different purposes in a collection, so it might depend on what type of bag you're looking for. To me, the Picotin is more of a daytime bag that is functional, spacious, and that has a casual elegance to it. The WOC is more dressy looking and could probably be worn day to night, depending on what you need to carry during the day.

Personally, I want to Picotin because I had the Chanel woc before and I sold it. It was too small for anything and the strap was really long. I’m not sure how the strap is now since it was a long time ago. I also have a Chanel classic flap, square mini, and mini reissue so I found woc is pointless for me. I have not owned a Picotin but I am definitely interested!

Life style changes and our needs may change too, I used to like you thinking WOC too small, funny enough I’m using WOC a lot more now. WOC strap length are not all the same, I owned multiple, some really long, some much shorter.

This made me laugh — I voted Pico just because I do not care for the WOC whatsoever; however, my husband refuses to allow me to buy a Pico in the first place, because it’s “just a feeder bag” which he thinks is ugly.
Capacity: Pictotin holds much more even if you pick the 18 version.
Styling: Picotin is a handheld only have, so if you need hands free, WOC is a better choice.
Fashion: Pictoin is casual and a bucket bag overall. WOC with the Chanel chain is so much more elegant and more vibrant.

Same issue with the husband here! but I can’t take the picotin out of my head, if my S.A offers me a cute color I might just get it anyways.
