Chanel WOC- is it worth it?

I have a rectangular mini and two classic wocs. I had three wocs and am thinking about repurchasing the black caviar classic woc with the new magnetic closure. Is it worth the current price? Probably not, but I would buy another one because my cost per wear for wocs is lower than any of my other Chanels.

I find the woc more versatile than the mini. It’s flat, more carefree and can be worn in many different ways. I prefer that it’s more low key than the mini flaps. When I am running errands I usually don’t want to carry a Chanel with an obvious logo. The woc is demure but still beautiful and the thin chain strap is so elegant. You have to make it work for you though... My keys are not bulky and I use the card slots. I carry a small vial of lotion, mini chapstick, mini hand sanitizer bottle,my iPhone 12, and a slim pen. I also use a base shaper. I shorten the strap with a clip I found on Amazon since I’m only 5’4”. Irealize that you can play around with the mini flap strap as well but I never do. I just wear it crossbody. Hope this helps!

I love the WOC! Like you, I wasn't sure if it was a smart purchase at first. It is wonderful to travel with, as you can stow it in a larger bag or tote and pull it out when you need something smaller. Same at home: don't want to take a big bag? Just grab the WOC. I don't personally use the card slots, so I put my CC card case in it (it's very slim) along with my keys and a cosmetic or two. I don't carry hand sanitizer in any of my bags, as the potential for damage to the bag is too high. I sanitize my hands back at my car. :) Can't speak to the mini flap as I don't have one -- between my small classic flap and the WOC (and I have two Gucci bags that are tiny), it's not needed. The WOC makes a nice little clutch in a pinch, and as someone else mentioned, the classic WOC doesn't have a big logo, which is nice. GL deciding!

I’m not tall and I notice that WOCs’ chains are usually pretty long so I’m not a fan. However, I did purchase one WOC last year which has the pearl crush so I can adjust the chain length. I think having one or two WOCs would be the max for me, and the rest would be something with bigger capacity.

I have several Chanel bags WOC, Boy, Mini Rectangular Flaps, Coco Handle and the WOC is by far my most used Chanel bag of all time. Old mini size Coco handle has become a close second after switching to a crossbody strap when I need to carry more items. I adore my mini rectangular flaps but they are more bulky for me and the current price is making me wonder if I'll ever get more. I am planning to get the WOC in a few more colors though. I love it for running errands, grocery shopping and also traveling. It fits my essentials, cards, keys, phone and passport during travel. My metro card fits in the back pocket for easy access and some cash or other valuables can be hidden in the inside compartment. I love that it is not bulky and sits flat next to my body. Mine is in the classic black caviar with ghw which I find super durable and timeless. For the amount of use it got over the past 3 years and the places its been to I can't really see much wear. I do also love the smaller logo. It is understated and elegant and I don't have to worry about getting too much attention to my bag. Cost per wear is much lower compared to my other Chanel bags so I would still buy at the current price. Definitely a must have for me.

I love my WOC, its lambskin so I try to baby it (key word try). I'm 5'7 so the crossbody strap is perfect for me and especially for nights out it fits the perfect amount of stuff. I can fit my phone and my key fob and all my essentials and I barely notice it on me. It was my first chanel, the only thing I could afford then but I knew I was going to get wear out of it.

I used to not be a fan of the WOC either, but I am beginning to like it now. In fact I just bought the 19B Camellia WOC from the store on Saturday (amazing how it was still available now).
Once I get used to downsizing the things I bring along, I really like how light and versatile the WOC is. I also like how you can transform it and use it as a clutch for like nice dinners or parties.
And the price-point for the Camellia WOC was really good too. I bought mine for like half the price of a mini in my country.
Would you mind sharing in which region (country) you are located? The 19B was really special and I missed out.

I have several small bags, a sq mini, a couple rec minis and a couple wocs and even though the rec mini fits a tiny bit more, ich prefer the WOC because it’s so light and easy to carry. It sticks to your body in a way the mini doesn’t, thus it’s easer to use and you don’t have to be as careful as with the mini (to scratch on walls or so).
For me it’s the WOC, even though I’m
not sure if the current prices are worth it. Than again, the mini is also pricy for the limited space you have.

I have the opposite grievance to you
I find the WOC too flat. Obviously I know it’s functionality is it’s drawcard. However for the price point, the logo is too subtle for my taste. I still have mine though because with it’s insane price point now, I don’t want to let it go because it makes my Chanel collection well rounded I guess. I would rather put more $$ towards the mini as I think you get more out of the mini compared to the WOC.
