Thinking about getting a WOC as my second Chanel purchase. I currently have a medium classic in black caviar & ghw.

I want a “bag” to run out of the house & do errands with that’s a little bit more low key. I don’t carry very much with me either.

What are your thoughts on the WOC & do you think it’s the worth the price? Also if you have one let me know what style .

I have both WOC and rectangle mini, if i were to start over i would skip WOC and just get rectanlge/squaremini. Wocs are priced high for what they are according to me ,

thank you for your input!! I’m planning on going into the store the next few weeks and see what I would prefer. The shorter strap length of the mini square does interest me, I’m 5’3.

Mini square is not a comfortable cross body bag, but rectangle mini is. If you feel strap length of rectangle mini too long, chanel SAs can give you the length shortner clip. Really handy!
what ever you decide to buy do show us☺

I have a woc and I’ve been using it a lot since the whole COVID mess started. It’s great to just grab and go, particularly when you are going on walks and want to be low-key. It’s easy to wear crossbody, although I am not very tall, so it’s quite long on me. My only issue with it is if I need to take my keys with me - for example, if my husband is not coming with me and taking his keys!! - it’s a very tight squeeze, once I have my other bits and bobs in it. And I carry very light. I am actually thinking of selling mine, although I do think that they are great for travel and for running quick errands. It’s also great for nights out. I just wish there was a little bit more space in it. If I had endless funds, I would definitely keep it, but I have my eye on other bags that I’d use the funds for.

I love the Woc. I have 2 that I use a lot, for both weekend errand running but also for commuting to work (when that resumes). It fits in phone, LV key pouch with house keys, car keys, a flat card holder, a mask and a bit of cash. That's all I need. And then for work I bring a separate tote for paperwork and laptop, but having the woc saves me spending ages rummaging through my tote to find my travel /office pass. I also have a rectangular mini and I find that the tote + mini combo doesn't work, the mini sticks out too much from my body.

Wow I love this! I also bring a Tote to work and this would make my life a lot easier. I honestly didn’t think of using the two together, thank you!!

You're v welcome. I feel more secure having my valuables in a woc close to my body and then I don't mind the tote being open.
Also I commute via public transport which can get v v busy. I've never had a worry about my woc being squashed as it's so flat anyway, but I'd worry about a mini.

I’ve been using my woc nonstop since the pandemic started because it’s great for running errands and that’s all I really do these days. I have a base shaper in mine and can fit my phone, bath and body works hand sanitizer, loccitane mini hand cream, keys and a lip balm. Only thing that is annoying is that I have to play Tetris when I take out my phone or something from the bottom and need it put it back in the bag. I’ve never tried the mini so have no comparison but I do like my woc.

I did a LOT of research and even tried a few in the boutique, tried fitting my basics and it didnt work for me. If you carry very light like just a key fob, cards, cash then it may work for you but I carry a bit more that.. The LV PA is perfect size for me. I have been using that a lot more during COVID. I bought a long chain and it is a perfect crossbody for me in size, weight, and capacity.

I would suggest to save more money and get a square or rectangle mini. They look more like a classic flap and have the turn lock closure. I know in the next season or after that, they are having minis with handles which will be in caviar...

I used to not be a fan of the WOC either, but I am beginning to like it now. In fact I just bought the 19B Camellia WOC from the store on Saturday (amazing how it was still available now).
Once I get used to downsizing the things I bring along, I really like how light and versatile the WOC is. I also like how you can transform it and use it as a clutch for like nice dinners or parties.
And the price-point for the Camellia WOC was really good too. I bought mine for like half the price of a mini in my country.
