+1You can’t go wrong with either as they’re both beautiful and versatile but if you primarily wear gold then go for gold. It’s not loud at all.
The hardware on the WOC is relatively minimal. I love gold jewelry and matching gold hardware!

Did you grab it in caviar or lambskin? Hard to pickI chose silver for mine. The gold for me reminded me of gold European jewelry with its tint
Why dont you go for champagne gold?
The woc is only available in silver or gold hardwear to my knowledge !I didn’t see it for the classic woc options in the boutique , but champagne gold would have been so so pretty

I got mine in gold caviar and it’s great for day to night, especially at night since it gives a more elegant vibe and is super useful for date nights or more dressy occasions. The gold doesn’t come off that noticeable in the daytime actually so I found the gold more versatile that way, and the caviar definitely gave me peace of mind since I don’t have to baby it. I was thinking of lamb skin since chanel lamb skin is so gorg but the lamb skin version I saw in the boutique already had some minor scratches and when I raised this with the SA, he tried to comfort me by showing ‘how easy it is to polish/run away the scratch’... it was less noticeable afterwards but I could still see it so I went with caviar !
I’ve had mine in lambskin and GHW since 2015 and find it more durable than I thought. I’ve worn it in all kinds of seasons and to different types of places - weddings, bars, trips, you name it. The only thing I don’t do is wearing it in rain (and snow) but that’s generally the case with most of my luxury bags and not specific to lambskin. Anyway, the bag is small, so I can protect it from scratches and dings and that’s why I was comfortable going with lambskin. To me, lambskin is the ultimate Chanel luxury, but I was too scared to get my CF in this as the CF is much bigger. So I’m glad my WOC allows me to have a lambskin piece in my collection. It’s stayed very well over the 5 year that I’ve had it and I don’t see any visible scratches on the exteriors; the interior shows signs of use from things going in and out.Thank you all for the votes, I decided on the silver chain - just made me feel a bit more on the edgier casual side - although gold is def super pretty too
I am thinking of grabbing it in lambskin most likely since it looks so lux, but read so much about caviar being the recommended option. Do you find the lambskin hard to wear in winter?
