Chanel Vienna, Austria - anybody?

Hello everybody!
I'm totally new at Chanel and I think I'm ready to buy my first Chanel bag in next few months. I don't live near any store and my closest is in Vienna (I'm not from Austria).
My question is: how do you buy a classic bag (CF or reissue) - do you just walk into a boutique or do you need to check the availability first? Do I need to contact a SA before I get there? When is better time to visit a store, before or after holiday season?

I'm planning a trip to central Europe in late November and there's a high chance I'll be in Vienna at some point. I'm thinking getting a black classic flap (I'm flexible about size, hardware and leather). What are my odds of being able to get one in Vienna?
Other potential stops with Chanel boutiques are Berlin and CDG airport, so trying to figure which location has the best potential of getting what I want (and best deal).

I visited the Vienna boutique a couple years ago and didn't love the experience. Stopped in on two separate occasions while we were visiting and found the SAs to be rather unpleasant, so I can't really give any insight into their stock. I will say that it is highly unlikely that the CDG boutique will have a black classic flap since in general they only carry seasonal bags (including seasonal classic flaps), but not the black classic flap that is available continually. I've been a few times and got my seasonal Reissue there. Also, you might have trouble accessing the CDG boutique unless your flight is scheduled to depart from Terminal 2, Hall K (which is the hall with Chanel, Hermes, LV, Burberry, etc.), as security generally only allows ticketed passengers for that hall through. Thanks for the info. The flight I would be flying usually flies out of T2E (I've flown it before). I guess if the CDG store doesn't have what I'm looking for, it's not worth the hassle of routing thru it.
When I was I Vienna I just walked into the store. They had medium with GHW in caviar and lambskin, jumbo with SHW in caviar, so black chevron reissue (I don't know which size), new medium boy RHW - this is what I was choosing from. I think they have a lot of classics.
