I vote for mini top handle, unless leather, lambskin vs. caviar, is a factor and makes a difference for you. Good luck deciding!
I think this color looks gorgeous in the lambskin. The color seems a bit washed out and gray-ish in the caviar.
Depends on your style and height. The mini with handle chain is not adjustable so the bag can sit too low for some people. It’s also lambskin so requires a little more care than the caviar on coco handle. Coco handle chain is meant for use as a shoulder bag so too short to crossbody and the bag itself is bulkier.
Mini top handle! I just got mine yesterday in this lilac. It’s stunning. No contest mini top handle! Gorgeous!
I'm not going to offer my opinion on coco handle vs mini with tophandle because my taste when it comes to bags is impractical and I don't wish to burden anyone else with my silly ideas.
BUT. As for myself, I need this coco handle. I sadly wasn't able to get my hands on the light purple coco handle from a few years ago (I think it was the 21K collection? Not sure) and it has haunted me ever since. Haunted me as in I literally have dreams about a light purple coco handle (along with a Lady Dior and Pochette MĂ©tis in the same color, but those have yet to exist).
Does anyone have any info on the price (and the price of the mini tophandle while we're on the topic)? Is the hardware gold or silver? I just bought a mini rectangle (I think I posted photos here, but it may have been in a different thread), does Chanel still have that policy about only being able to buy one bag a season?

I vote coco handle! It is by far my favorite bag Chanel makes. It is more durable because of the caviar leather, I love that it has “feet” and the removable strap makes the bag much more versatile.
Between these two, I prefer the coco handle, only because I prefer the classic mini rectangle without the top handle. The Coco is more versatile since you can remove the strap or even add an extender to carry it crossbody.
