Yes, I have a black caviar medium CH from a few years ago. It’s the 3rd size up from the mini. So it’s bigger than the Retro Twist and obviously can hold more. But I will try to list pros and cons, even though I have not used my RT yet…
Coco Handle:
Pros: Classic silhouette, all leather, removable chain strap, can be worn handheld or with shoulder strap, feet on the bottom. Overall well-made.
Cons: I’m sorry - but I cannot stand the interior divider lol. I find it rather restrictive. Can become slouchy overtime, corners are prone to wear. Handle can be really uncomfortable if you’re wearing it handheld. Front flap can be grossly misaligned/crooked so make sure you check it unless if that doesn’t bother you.
Retro Twist:
Pros: Classic shape, all leather, well-made, feet on the bottom, very structured. Shiny and supple caviar. ‘Kelly’ shape, exaggerated size of both quilted diamonds and CC logo make this bag very aesthetically pleasing. Sleek and compact. Fits all the essentials for a small bag. Flat handle is more comfortable. Basically like a true Chanel ‘Kelly’ with a cute and fresh vibe.
Cons: Capacity can be deceiving as the flap will not close if overfilled. If you need additional space, I would recommend either using a flat card holder. Corners look like they could be prone to wear, but luckily it’s not as bulky as my medium CH, so less likely to come into contact/ brush up against surfaces. Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe the small CH is $100 less than the RT(?)
As I said, I haven’t carried it yet… but if I had to pick one, it would 100% be the RT. I can fit more in my med CH, but aesthetically the RT wins, so I would pick that one over CH. Hope that helps!
