Hello, I have both bags in my collection. I have two coco handles in the small (old mini) size and 4 mini rectangles. What other handbags do you have in your collection and do you tend to carry the 19 using the top handle or wear it on the shoulder strap? I normally prefer carrying my coco handle by the handle as you can't wear it as a cross body as it comes up too short and I don't really like wearing it on my shoulder. So I would say if you like carrying top handle bags then get a coco handle but if you like wearing bags on the shoulder/cross body then get the mini. I hope this helps :smile:

Hi! Thank you so much for your response. In my handbag collection for Chanel, I just have the classic flap and the 19. I tend to carry my 19 with the shoulder strap instead of the top handle. All my other handbags are pretty much shoulder bags/cross body. Maybe the coco handle is a good option in terms of a variety? Like you said though, since I wear my bags more crossbody perhaps the mini makes more sense.

The red and black are different. Look at the chain. I think the black look like lamb and maybe the red will be calf.

I guess its true what you say about variety but then the fact that your other bags are pretty much the same indicates that you like a particular style. I know you mentioned that you would like to inject some colour in this purchase so I would say its better to get the coloured bag in a style you know you like so then you're more likely to use it and maybe get a coco handle in a neutral colour later on. I feel like getting a new style and also a different colour may be too risky. It's always worth just popping into the store to have a look. Have you ever tried on the coco handle before?

I also think it is a good idea to go to the boutique and try on a coco handle before making the purchase if you can. In my opinion, Coco handle is more of a feminine, elegant bag and if you are not much into top handle, I found it a little harder to pair with clothes if you are more of a casual dresser. I recently bought a white mini coco handle, she is beautiful, but i found myself not wearing her as much because she looks a little bit formal for my style. I ended up letting her go and got a medium CF in white instead. Hope this helps.

Yes, that’s very true. I have tried on both in the store, and I liked the fit of both. I do think you’re right about color and style though, it may end up being too much at once. Thank you for talking this out with me :smile:

Yes chains are different and agree styles are different but wondering if the material is the same as it looks similar. Thanks to @pmt219 and @lelelex, the black is confirmed grained calfskin along with the corresponding backpack. Now just the red bag to figure out. :whut:

A little bit off topic, but my SA said I pretty sure would get the black backpack (not the business affinity one). I believe this is a completely new bag from Chanel, so there is no information on it. I am very petite and the straps are not adjustable so I worry right now that it won’t be right for me. I also need to see the leather in person. If I don’t love it, I would not buy it, but I am so afraid to hurt the relationship with my SA :(. Has anyone been in the same situation before?
