Could I get everyone’s opinion please? I did a phone order and when my CCH came, it didn’t have any cloth/felt to inbetween the flap and the bag inside, it also didn’t come with a tag. Is it supposed to?

Also, would these things bother you?
1. the flap from the front is slanted.
2. the gap on the side of the bag is bigger on one side.
3. The diamonds don’t line up on either side.
4. All the horizontal wrinkles.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!! TIA

I ran into the same issue last month. My client id mysteriously changed. It was the same for a while until December of last year. I had a received a scratched bag from a remote order which I had returned yet was blocked from purchasing another bag although I had returned the bag a week earlier. I was finally able to purchase a few days later, after much headache calling the store I had made the return to plus customer service, but noticed that my client id and also title (from Ms to Mrs had changed). I figured that maybe just maybe my SA did something so I could purchase the bag, since the return from another boutique wasn’t processed correctly to reflect the return, remove the purchase, and reset my limit. I was curious thinking maybe he created a new profile for me so I asked him, and he said he hadn’t created a new one. Still, puzzled and thinking my 11 year Chanel purchase history was now lost, I called customer service. Based on my name and phone number, they were able to bring up all my purchase history including the new purchases with the new client id. Although there was no definite answer, they said your client Id can change due to a change on your record. I still found it strange and asked subsequent SAs to look at my account in January and February when I made purchases at other boutiques with the new client id. They were able to see my purchase history from both client ids. I am assuming they probably map them.
Actually I just took a look at my receipts. Mine also changed! Weird... It happened last October/November. Throughout my purchases I have only exchanged one bag before bc of a defect, but the ID change happened before that.

The tag and the felt happens some times, doesn't bother me. Neither do the uneven front flap and side profiles, but I think I am bothered by the horizontal wrinkles  I would ask for an exchange if a replacement isn't hard to find.

Not all my bags have come with tags or felt. Some people have mentioned that some boutiques remove the tags and protective cover on the logo. As for the points you mentioned, none of those would bother me and force me to return/exchange the bag. The bag I believe will get wrinkles with use. I personally would be fine keeping this bag.

I exchanged an item a few months earlier to get gold hardware instead of silver but my client id was still the same at that point. My next two subsequent purchases still had my original client id, so the first return didn’t triggered the change. That’s why I felt my SA must have created a new profile for me, although he said he hadn’t.

But if the client ID changed for multiple ppl (at least 3 of us) could this be a corporate update? I mean they are still not completely done with transitioning all those departments store boutiques right? Maybe everyone got a new ID but the purchase history was not lost somehow.

I am assuming yes, it could very well be a corporate update. I just mentioned the previous return saying that I don’t think the returns triggered it.

Not sure where you are based, probably in the US. But just for the record, in Australia they always remove the tag. I once asked my SA whether she could leave the tag on and she said it was the company policy to always remove the tag. So I personally don't care at all.

Regarding the quality issues, I think CCH has been having a rather bad track record with all the linings, foldings and corners. Some people are not bothered because once you start you use it, it will get worse sooner or later. But some tend to have a bit more OCD about it.

My advice is that if it bothers you, don't accept it, otherwise it will just keep bugging you in the future every time you use it.

... maybe a kind of stupid question, but does anyone know if the My Perfect Mini will return in this or one of the next collections? I am a big fan of this model, but the colors so far were not my favorites - a grey or nude shade would be my dream ; - ))) Thanks for all your replies ....

Hi hun thank you so much for your sharing your experience. Mine actually changed when i was going to purchase a second bag. I asked the SA that i wish i could get two bags the SA responded i will ask my managers and he said they can make a few exceptions. So then when it was rung up there i saw my client number changed this 22p. Though i have not exceeded from the pst maybe one time from oct or nov getting three slg’s but the client number was still the same… it just changed when i wanted to get two bags this season. I thought oh no did they reset my account? One lady shared w me a few months ago that she had trouble purchasing from a different boutique because she was told she has multiple accounts which I didn’t understand until it happened to me.

do you mind me asking did client services say that they can merge the accounts or was it even allowed and not flag or restrict your account after this “extra client number?” Also from what I understand on your post, your purchases reflect for both same accounts? Meaning it wasn’t reset? Could it be this is the way the SA can make a sale and not have to a restriction on our account at that particular moment? How about next time we make another one purchase which client number will they use? Honestly if i knew my client numbee will change or have an extra account I wouldn’t have purchase another bag. I dont like to have any issues or potential issues with chanel

When I called customer service, they found me by using my name and phone number not client id. They mentioned that they look you up based on your phone number and address. I did try to read out my new client id to confirm the match, but they never confirmed it. I did ask them if I had more that one purchase and they said that they had my purchase history going back to 2011. I asked them if they saw a recent return and they said they had seen the bag I had returned. That’s when they had said that my client id could possibly change. Although still worried and confused, I just left it at that. However, when I went into a local non-regular boutique in early January and purchased a woc and costume jewelry, when I was asked for my phone number, I asked the SA if she could see my history. I asked her about very specific items I purchased under my original client id, she mentioned she saw them and also the return and repurchase of the mini the month before. However once I got my receipt, I checked and saw the new client id. I am assuming she looked at my records because she immediately emailed me to say it was nice meeting me and to thank me for my purchases and to also say if I needed help any time please reach out to her. Then in February last week, I went into another boutique with my non-regular SA and bought a woc, she looked me up with my phone number. After finding my account, this new SA immediately put my contact info into her phone and texted me at the store before she rang me up. I asked her if could see other purchase history because I was concerned my account had been lost and she said they were still there. When she rang me up, I looked at my receipt and it was also the new client id. I have also heard from her a few times, since I went into the boutique last week.

I am assuming that all is ok because they can see my history from the old client id although my new client id is being used now.

Oh wow I really appreciate your response. I have spent hours literally finding an answer. Thank you for reassuring me that my previous purchase history wasn’t erased. Or that it was something i will have a problem in the future. I just wonder why though.. but as long as everything is fine im happy and okay about it. thank you so so much for this, such a great help.
