Anyone got the gold mini flap and can share natural daylight pics? I was really hoping the gold would be more like the champagne gold mini flap from last year that I missed out on. This one just seems so brassy.View attachment 5309338

Update on my post: I went to the boutique and was able to see the classic flap version of this gold bag. The leather was quite dry in appearance and to touch, and the gold metallic finish just looked very patchy. Although there may be variations in color and quality between minis and classics, in the end I am glad I did not go with my reserve of the mini in this colorway. If it looks/feels this bad brand new, I don't think it will wear well at all much sooner. Just my opinion.

Thanks for this, confirming my suspicions! I was considering this mini as well, but yes just by looking at the pictures online the leather seems pretty dry and that it probably won’t wear well. I had a gold metallic non-Chanel bag at one point, and after some time, it started flaking. I was suspecting that this could potentially happen to this too down the line.

the hardware on this is antique gold. It’s more dull; not shiny. It’s a gorgeous bag.

It is a brushed ghw but it looks really nice! Just got mine today. Passed on the mini and went with this instead because since the gold leather on the mini is a lighter shade, I felt like the bghw was too harsh up against it. But on the WOC, it is perfect. I agree that shiny or champs ghw would have looked stunning on either the WOC or the mini from this season, but the bghw matches the shade of the gold leather on the WOC perfectly so it blends in beautifully to where I think the bag can easily be dressed up or down. Makes it more versatile IMO. I wear a lot of gold fine jewelry and played around with it today, putting it next to some of my pieces and I’m obsessed. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!
