I like this color.
Ahhhh I received my Melody Backpack today and I’m in LOVE!!!!! The caviar is gorgeous and it looks and feels very durable and well constructed. It’s the best seasonal caviar I’ve personally come across that isn’t vintage or not on a mini flap. Imo it’s hard to find exceptional caviar on seasonal bags, especially ones without a classic silhouette.
I would absolutely not describe the leather as “soft caviar.” It may be “soft” to some because it’s not extremely rigid like the caviar you find on classic flaps in classic colors, but it’s firm and thick. I’ve seen bags with soft seasonal caviar that didn’t feel durable and this is not it at all. I don’t find the chain heavy. In fact, I’m confused about that comment. It doesn’t feel different from the average Chanel chain. The chains are thin and not bulky, which I love. The profile is thin and falls perfectly flat and parallel to the back. And because of the profile, when you need to open the bag while one strap is attached to the shoulder, it’s easy to access. I feel like this is a backpack/bag hybrid. It’s so sleek and chic but edgy. I had the BA Backpack and felt it affected the way I stood because of how it feel on my back. Maybe because it was so large and slanted at the base. I feel like the best Chanel backpacks that sit well on the body and hold their shape better are ones that don’t slant at the base, like the Urban Spirit and Vintage Duma bags, among others. The size is comparable to a medium flap. I attached a photo of what fits inside, including my 13 Pro Max IPhone.
It’s incredibly well made. Between this backpack and my 21S caviar mini top handle, I can see the quality coming through. I feel like Chanel has stepped it up, although they still have to work at maintaining that across the board.
This is a special bag. It’s unique and not many people will have it. If it’s your style and vibe, I cannot recommend it enough!!!! It’s sooo beautiful.

Hi ladies! I rmb someone asking about other Colours of these heels. I managed to get this pair from my local boutique and it’s gorgeous! It’s the baby pink embossed leather and cream coloured tip. Hope this helps!

I would just like to say that I got my backpack today too! I love mine so much! The caviar does feel really nice. It’s soft, but not too soft. The only thing I have to say about mine is that the zipper is a bit hard to zip and unzip but it’s not a deal breaker for me.
If anyone is on the fence about buying this backpack, don’t! It’s a really nice piece to have in your collection.
And to update about the sad part to my story yesterday about missing out on the light pink coco handle- my friend is really nice and bought it for me. So I managed to score the both bags I wanted in the end. So happy now

It looks gorgeous and special!!! I must admit the big reason I fell in love with the Chain Melody was the shiny caviar bcuz I love the shiny caviar from the 21S mini top handle so much! My SA is so sweet as she shipped it overnight for Saturday delivery so I should receive it tomorrow. Can’t wait!
