Hello, I am also based in the UK. As soon as I saw rumours of the caramel mini, I messaged my SA straight away. This was a couple of months ago. I would then normally send a message to my SA nearer the launch date to see if they'd be getting the bag in. She has always been really helpful and has managed to secure me the bags that I want.

I have never tried going to the boutiques on launch day as the queues are sooo long and there is no guarantee that you will get what you want. Try and reach out to SAs that you have previously clicked with and see if they can let you know if they are getting the bag in. Most bags are reserved before they hit the shop floor, but obviously no where near as crazy as USA. Hope this helps!

Thank you! I messaged a few sa’s but I’m not sure if they’ll actually get in touch as none of the sa I have met, however friendly and eager to give their business card in store, don’t seem to reply to messages, not convinced I’d get one even on launch date just trying my luck. I’m wondering at this point if it’s normal for them in the uk not to reply

I have worked with my SA for 18 months, sometimes she will take days if not weeks to respond. She has said before that she doesn't always get a chance to respond as she is busy on the shop floor but she said she does read them and bear the requests in mind. I would also say don't be shy to chase, if they don't respond in a week, message them again. Try and keep the communication going. Goodluck with your hunt!

In the boutique purchase I was able to split the payment in to two CCs, I believe you can not change the order to your dads unless you have very strong relationship with an SA, but I asked my SA to change the reserve to my husband and she said no!

If you are picking it up/paying in store then I know you can split the payment into multiple cards as I've done it several times. However if you are paying for the bags remotely (where the SA sends you a payment link via text) then you might be restricted to just one card. It doesn't matter if the card is in your name or not but I believe the shipping address has to match the billing address that's on the credit card.

Yes you can split the payment for in person purchases. But my SA will always order under my name. For remote purchase, check with your SA as it depends on the boutique and their policies.
