Thank goodness! I can't imagine Chanel actually doing this and thinking it is acceptable, but I also feel like people would buy it regardless

As cute as they are , the heart bags indeed look crafted by some knock off firm ( rightly pointed out by someone - a chinatown 10$ thing ) ! Esp look at the quilting abruptly ending closer to the heart edge ! Cant get more careless than this for a bag from the house of Chanel ! Not only have this put a question mark on the new offerings by Chanel but tainted the history of the fashion house that was committed to impeccable artistry !
This design could have been made elegant if only few details were worked over ( expected from them ) and it was crafted with love and precision ! Guess their focus on minting quick money is taking away focus from true craftsmanship ! The vanity bag looks kinda decently constructed. All brands are absolutely aware that only close ups are shot during a runway presentation. There is no way this is a miscalculated risk ! They have shown their current thought process of negligence towards art and consumers!

Good thing it didn’t hit someone in the face. If I ever get invited (in my dreams) to a Chanel show, I’ll ask to be seated in the back lol

Oh my goodness the comments of the cheap looking heart bag have me laughing hysterically. If the chain broke on the runway hopefully this will not be a foreshadow of issues when this bag is purchased by consumers. What a hot mess.

I was studying the pictures and trying to reconstruct the mechanics of what could have happened.. Looks like the momentum of that black accordion SLG was too much for the heart chain to handle. Careful with your SLGs guys.. “Don’t go breaking my heart..”
