I have both the 21p mini and just purchased the 22s small. Yes the colour is slightly different but I prefer the small size over the mini and that is why I’m going to be getting rid of the mini. I like to wear my bag on the shoulder and I prefer the lambskin this season hence my preference for the 22s small.

Chanel prices might continue to increase, and the next time the mini comes in this colour the price may be close to the small price today. Just never know with Chanel! Good luck with your decision.

The only thing I’m currently debating - should I return and buy a mini (they go for $6k) or rather keep small?

Do you use applegard on your leather bags too? I have a new beige mini classic flap and not sure if I should protect it with something? Don't want to hurt / ruin the leather

I do not. I’ve only used applegard on my suede shoes which has been helpful. Oddly enough the bulk of my collection is lambskin and I am no where near worried about them the way I am this fabric :facepalm:

Is the fabric already coated to make it durable/resistant to stains? I only ask because I have a fabric Givenchy shopping tote and I think the booklet it came with mention that it was coated already.

It doesn’t feel coated. I will have to look at the care booklet to see. Thanks for the reminder! My SA is standing firm on staining and getting dirty not being an issue in her experience with previous light colors/clients.

I’m LOVING the Small Funky Town in Purple on you. Your photo might actually be my favorite mod shot of that bag so far. I think it looks fabulous on you - love the beautiful color and love the chunky chain.
