Just got offered a small caramel CF…originally wanted a rectangular mini. Torn between settling for the small or wait and see if a caramel mini will come back in a later season. Upside of the small is that it’s available now, and even though the caramel this season is super close to 21P, it’s a tad darker and I love that, I don’t think I this exact shade will be repeated again. Downside is that the small can’t be worn cross body (on me), and it’s almost double the price of the mini for not that much bigger of a bag.

I’d wait. I’m personally waiting and someone on this thread said the mini is coming back in another season.

After a week or so of going back and forth about this bag I decided to get it. I think it was the pressure of the month ending since I hadn’t bought anything lol. The pink is definitely much prettier than I realized. Color is closer to the second pic. I think I need to use some applegard or something on it!

I was in a similar situation but for the pink. I really wanted the 22p mini but I had the chance to get the 22s small and just went for it. Chanel has been releasing many pinks but just the constant chasing in hopes of getting a mini felt exhausting. I am in Canada so we don’t have as much options as the US. If you feel you can wait and would be able to get one in mini eventually then that’s nice but if you don’t want to miss the color and are unsure you would be able to buy it in the future, then get it now. It’s double the price but you would have peace of mind sooner.

If you take the risk and miss out on both will you be ok with that? It doesn’t sound like the small bag itself is a good fit for you. Paying double for a bag that wasn’t your initial want seems like a no. I typically like the option to be able to wear my small bags crossbody so that and double the price of what I wanted to spend would be a no for me.

If the small cf is not the type of bag for you then the color (no matter how desirable) shouldn’t matter. You should love the small cf size/function to justify the price. If you gave up on this small would you regret it? If not, then wait for the mini caramel of the future and assume the price of that will be higher than what it is now. If that is your dream bag, wait.

i can confirm this, we definitely have fewer options/quantity in Canada. I was in the boutique on launch day for 22 p and still did not get the mini I wanted

Just picked up today I was starting to lose hope but I received a text from my SA it's here! I loved the heart bag when I saw it on the runway but knew it would be hard to get. I didn't want to chase after it so I wasn't expecting to get one but my SA remembered I said I liked it and offered me one few weeks into the season and it's finally here! After being contacted by my lovely SA earlier today I unexpectedly ended up buying my first neutral small CF.

I’m torn. My husband offered to either buy me a bag or jewelry. The bag we initially agreed on is the caviar purple from the upcoming collection.

Is this caramel bag a keeper? Something one should have in their collection?

Hi there! The question is, do you love it? This colour has been very popular, but I personally don’t think anyone needs any particular colour in their collection, unless they themselves love it. I’ve made this mistake before, buying popular colours/items, only to realize they aren’t for me. I have many colours that aren’t the popular ones from any given season, but they make my heart sing. If you love the 22A purple, then wait for that one. Good luck deciding!
