Ah thanks so much for chiming in :amuse: And that's very good to hear! I think I've heard of some owners reminding others to be mindful of humidity when storing white bags. Where I am from it's a pretty good balance, so I guess I shouldn't need to worry too much then. I have no regrets too, white Chanel cfs are so classy and feminine! To me white goes with everything and it kind of replaces my need for black bags haha.
Yes! White is so versatile.. It goes with a lot, I actually wear it more often than my black CF. I heard about humidity too, but it’s not something I worry about since I live in Cali. The air is pretty dry here that sometimes I think about moisturizing my bag since leather is animal skin after all:coolio:

Ladies with white bags. Could you share your experience with them ?

I am quite keen in a white caviar bag but other than Color transfer would white bags turn yellowish over time like white clothes ?

Hello! I have the white mini in lambskin from 21A and I have definitely noticed some mild yellowing on the bag and on the thread of the back pocket. It seems to be more prominent in certain lighting but not noticeable in normal daylight. I’m not sure what’s caused it as I haven’t used the bag yet and I wouldn’t say the UK is particularly humid either.

As I already have it in my collection, I have decided to just enjoy it and later on if I need to have it redyed then so be it (My SA said chanel will introduce more repair services in the future such as leather repair so would be very similar to Hermes spa).

It really is a beautiful bag!

I’ve had a white Caviar classic flap for over 8 years, it’s Pristine, no yellowing, no color transfer. Just don’t let it rub against denim or anything and you will be fine!

Someone posted the beige round one but sadly they were in Canada. I feel like it might be one of those items only available in Canada and other countries. Hopefully I'm wrong lol I'm keeping an eye out for it as the items come in. Feeling the constant need to compensate for the fact that I couldn't get a caramel mini:crybaby:
Same! I feel that way about the heart clutch, hoping I can atleast snag a round cutie!

How have you been storing the bag since ?

Comforting to hear after 8 years no yellowing.

Is your country humid ?

so far have you accidentally stain or spill anything and If yes how did you manage to clean it to keep it pristine ?

Where I am is pretty humid like all year round so not sure if I can take this risk for a bag that cost a few thousands and am not sure if I would feel stress about dirtying the bag and end up rarely even using it.

It also includes a video of a youtuber who lives in Singapore and her white bag is still in pristine condition. She shared what she does to store it properly. From my research, I found that exposure to light and humidity are the two biggest factors in turning a white bag yellow. Some forum members have said they avoid pro longed exposure to the sunlight even while in use.
I would love to add a white bag to my collection as well. It looks so elegant! I saw a woman wearing it with a black Chanel jacket in a crossbody style with sneakers. It looked so chic and elegant at the same time!

My SA said to avoid wearing with denim. She said after a few years, Chanel will spa it and can dye it but the texture will not be the same. I know this will reduce the resale value but I honestly dont buy bags to sell them later.

I almost bought a white coco handle but returned it as I am looking for a more cream/ivory undertone white. The 22c was perfect shade but I missed it. I almost got it but it was sold before I got to the store. My SA said the 22s may be more of a ivory shade but it is no where in sight since the collection was released. If anyone hears or has seen it, pls share! TIA!

This has always been my wonder as well. I check this thread once in a while but I don't find much answers on here... More users asking than answering. Maybe someone can chime in here? I have only owned my for less than a year, so far no yellowing but then again it's less than a yr old

Thanks for sharing will check out that thread. I was told by my SA for light color bags including caviar will need avoid dark color clothes not just denim so am thinking if I need to avoid so many colours end up like I don’t have many options to style it with.

For 22S white I thought it looks like crisp white rather than ivory from pics of vanity case posted earlier ?

We have humid summers but the bag mostly lives in air conditioning, I don’t do anything to my bags, just try to be careful when around food/wine, hang it on a purse hook under the table.
