Wow! That's still like less than one per boutique when you include the department stores. I'm sure the waitlists are a mile long for that bag too. @nashpoo, do you know if that was a typical buy size for a mini style pre-pandemic? I have seen that there have been shortages because of covid so I'm wondering if those numbers will increase when all this is over and it won't be so hard to find these styles from SAs.
I texted to one sa in one store said she only will get 2 pink medium caviar and there are roughy 50 list of person with their credit card ready to buy , now I don’t even remember which sa from which store anymore ... . Lol ..

This right here. amen to you sister. Ladies there will always be another unicorn bag. There will always be another light pink. What we can all do now is support each other and avoid getting trapped in the hypes of these colors. I promise you, there will always be another bag. But how we react to these short supplies will dictate the resellers market and if Chanel wants to have another price increase. If we act cool, be patient, it will eventually work to our favor, I love you all. You are all amazing
So is Chanel focusing on selling more medium sizes since so limited minis are being provided to the stores?
I feel like this is right. The same way Chanel paused (or permanently stopped – who knows) producing caviar minis in order to get clients to pivot to “larger” bags. I was trying to get on the list for a mini and the SA offered me a medium because that was “guaranteed.” Well, at a proportion of 5:1, no wonder.
