They are really close in color....but does it hurt to have a backup of your favorite bag?

another point: I was head over heels when Nat posted the pics of the 21S iridescent green and I immediately wanted to get it - BUT: I have this stunning 17S beauty (one of my most favourite bag in my collection), and now the question is, if they’re too close for comfort in color?

So my 21s trendy arrived today in black...but I'm now wondering if I should have bought it in the beige!!. The beige hadn't arrived in the boutique when I bought the black (although they were getting it) and the SA didn't have any photos of it, so I had to make a call. She wouldn't hold the black until the beige arrived.

I've now seen the beige and it looks lovely, but it's so hard to decide not being able to see them in person!

I already have a caviar jumbo is black with GHW, so wonder if if the trendy is too similar/both serve the same purpose.

I could return and then wait until the shops reopen, however, it would be July before I'm able to get to one (due to Lockdown and I don't have Chanel stores any near me).

Help!! Any thoughts would be gratefully appreciated.

The trendy is still a very different look from the classic IMO so personally having both in black wouldn’t bother me in the slightest!

Your bag from 17S is lovely. Quilts are nice too. Pink and white iridescent mini quilts from 21S were more flat. I have not seen mini in iridescent green. Mediums from this season are much nicer.

Congrats! Is the silver mini shiny or more on the matte side? I can’t seem to figure out how it is IRL. Would you say the pictures on Chanel website accurately represent the actual color?

There are rumors, that the trendy cc will be discontinued in the small size. Is it the small? I don't feel like this bag is too similar to the jumbo, specially considedring yours is caviar. From my point of view, yours looks realllly good from the quality. i have seen a lot of trendys that didn't have the nice quilt and the front flap didn't align like yours does.
This back has been around for years and in your combination, i think it's in investment and will show less wear and tear, than beige.
If i were you, i would keep it. However: If you keep looking at it and it only provokes the thought of "I wanted you in beige ", you should return it. Sometimes we have to listen to our feelings, even if the factual arguments for keeping or exchanging an item might be very persuasive.

Really close in colour, but it’s totally fine to get in a different size. Mini vs classic medium is quite different imo.

I have also the black Jumbo and a black Trendy CC. I don’t regret having both of them. I was one of the lucky girls, that received the beige one but had to return it because of the creases. I would stay with the black one, if it’s in a excellent condition

I know what you mean. I've asked my SA to look for it. Hopefully I will be able to compare them in real at the boutique. This iridescent green is so stunning... But on the other hand I'm really a bit hesitating about having two bags in such a similar colour... I'll see
