What's crazy is the prices in general. Where I live, if I buy a $6800 flap (current M/L), it's over $7400 from the boutique, which seems like a $600 markup, but isn't. Let's go low and say a reseller charges 10% to sell a bag. That's $740 on top of tax. I'm not defending resellers in general--at all. But, the price increases are insane. If someone just wants to get what they paid and has to pay a reseller, it looks like they're marking it up $1300, and really the original buyer is just getting what they paid. Again, not in the resale game, but if ever a bag doesn't work outside of a return window, it's important to remember this. Not everyone lives in a tax free state. Most of us don't.

If I convert 11,000SGD = 64,000HKD so there’s 11,200HKD difference which is around 1,400USD

thank you! I actually have a chanel classic flap in red light gold hardware so I understand what you mean..I just really liked the bright yellow gold hardware. Congrats on your bag!

thank you! Seems like most bright yellow gold has been brushed gold hw on seasonal bags. The true shiny gold only on black classics lately. Hopefully they will bring it back again.
