Does your pic reflect the true color in person? I’ve seen so many variations of this color so I’m confused as to which one is the real color.
Same. Buying Chanel for 10+ years and it was NEVER this bad. It's gotten absolutely out of control. It's ridiculous that my SA can't get a bag from a collection that was literally just released, saying it is "too heavily waitlisted." Let's speak with your wallets and refuse to buy from resellers. That's the only way it will stop, if we put them out of business.
I agree it’s gotten out of hand with resellers in the past 2 years and especially now with the pandemic. I am usually ALWAYS late to the game but for once i waitlisted for the caramel 19 when i saw the stock photo first. Then once a pic of the real bag came about it was nearly impossible to get. I was number 3 out of 5 they were getting in Beverly Hills boutique so i felt like i scored on this for a change. I saved atleast $300 in reseller fees.
Same here. I’d rather pass on the bag than having to pay those ridiculous fees. Chanel always tries to get us buying more so they would comes out with new stuffs anyway. Also, they seem to push on “unicorn status” on every collection that comes out nowadays. Always put those captions of “extremely rare”, “unicorns” (even on not so special bags or colors) so they can sell it for premium price. No thank you
Now it’s cheaper to buy everything in the store. But we usually no stocks and long waitlist. Gone are the days where people help each other to get a particular SA with your item. Most has a motive to get and turn it around! Some of them even hide as anti resellers and ending up hoarding them up. Talk about the ivory, caramel, lilac and rose Clair collection.
And mind you, these resellers are browsing here for new collection updates lol
I was wondering about that, if any of you have been getting DMs from people with no post history and are new members? I want to give people the benefit of the doubt but also got kind of scared they are just resellers trying to take up more stock
The only way I can think of “sniffing” the resellers out is to provide the serial codes for each of the bags we buy from resellers to Chanel and having them look up the buyer and bar them from making new purchases. I think these resellers probably do have a buyer network of friends who buy one bag each from boutiques and department stores (since neither side can see purchase history) and pool their purchases and split the profit. Unfortunately I don’t actually think there’s enough of us willing to report their serial codes to the boutiques to catch these peopleI was wondering about that, if any of you have been getting DMs from people with no post history and are new members? The sad thing is there are desperate people willing to pay the premium which encourages resellers! Easy money $500+ on each bag
I agree that the 21p pink is the best pink shade since the 19s iridescent pink. I got the medium cf in this pink last week!
We shouldn’t buy from them as that encourages their behavior. Perhaps requesting the serial code from the reseller and then reporting to Chanel corporate is the way togo.
