Well this really is frustrating! Sounds like this is just for Neimans? Because I never had an issue with Saks. I use my husband's card all the time and the order is under my name.I am going through a similar situation with a NM chanel. I purchased a 19 leather flap in august 2020, and it was charged to my CC, sent to my vacation home and everything verified no problems. Fast forward to March 2nd, I wanted to buy a key pouch using all the same info on file with the same store and same SA... Because it was my vacation home it was denied.
My purchase history and the fact that nothing had changed didn't make a difference. Since that happened, I changed my billing info on the card to my vacation home so that everything matches... They still do not want to process the transaction. So apparently now the manager at CC and the manager at NM are working together to push it through... but I haven't heard anything in the past week, so I assume no new is news in itself. Very frustrating since I have a purchase history, was on the waitlist for another bag and not can't buy anything from them anymore... Meanwhile VISA veryfied all the information, everything was a match and CC is still refusing to charge the transaction.
I have cancelled the order now. I cannot deal with the stress any more. A luxury purchase should not be like this-stressful and cumbersome. Takes away all the fun.
