This is a great thread. I'm going to NYC in 3 weeks and plan to get a pair of either ballet flats or sling backs while I'm there. Since my feet are quite wide, I had not considered getting a pair of closed toe Chanel shoes before reading the threads here on TPF.
Now I'm getting even MORE excited about my trip!

Are these black Chanel trainers still being produced? I love the look of Chanel's trainers but only in solid colours.

Just wanted to give feedback on these slingbacks I picked up during the sale. I'm usually a 36.5 in flats and 37 in heels across all brands.

The 37 in the slingback was a perfect fit for me, so I'd say this is true to size. No issues of sliding off the back, and it is not as narrow as I thought in the front. There is slight rubbing on one toe but I think that'll go away once it stretches. 20170713_075247.jpg

Got these over the Summer sale a few weeks back... These are my first pair of the quilted version of flats. The quilted flats are the most comfortable! Significantly! Than the regular leather and lastly the patent (for ballet flats). Crazy what a significant comfort difference is between each ballet flat style.

Hello everyone. I got back from NYC last night. While I was there I did get a pair of the beige & black lambskin flats. I walked into Saks armed with all the information that I found on the threads here and my SA was great.
It's the first time ever that I've put on a pair of ballet flats and NOT had pain. I walked all over NYC in those things.
Anyway thanks to everyone here on TPF who generously shares information.

Hi all - I got ballerina flats (lamb skin) in 39. My sling backs and espy's are also 39. The 39 ballerina flats fit in the store but are tight now. (The 39.5 slipped off). Will they stretch? I'm really looking fur everyone to say it'll be ok bc it's too late to return them!

Sorry to hear your dilemma. I had a similar experience with a pair of plain black lambskin. When I bought them the 40 felt too big and the 39.5 felt a little too snug with my toes feeling crowded. I even went back to the store to try the 40 again and exchange but ended up keeping the 39.5 bc the 40 felt like it was slipping off when I walked around. I kept the 39.5 but I always felt a bit uncomfortable in them. I find the tweed ones stretch some the plain leather lambskin I never felt mine stretched.
