No, we’ve not had the weather here for it yet! I NEVER have to size up in any shoes and my true size did look good but I could feel the ropes digging in, and there were red marks on my feet from just trying them on around the boutique. I was so surprised as my feet are extremely narrow. I tried the size bigger and the ropes felt more comfortable but I felt the sandals looked a bit long. My friend thought they looked fine cos my foot fits in the actual leather part and doesn’t go onto the braided trim. I decided to go with that size. Trying them on around the house I do feel the ropes scratching a bit at the side of my feet so I have no idea how bad this could get if I walked around outside in them after a few hours. I have made a lot of mistakes with buying expensive uncomfortable shoes in the past! Have you worn them yet?

In my current situation, I’ve worn them only to get food delivery downstairs of our apartment  They are comfy but TBH I’m still not sure about walking around all day with them. I know what you mean about the ropes digging in. I feel like if you tighten the straps just right so that your feet won’t move around too much, they would feel better. I’ve also got the Prada sports sandals with leather straps and they feel way more comfy due to the spongy soles.

Please let me know how you go when you have a chance to wear them out!

Yes, I’ll let you know! We have had a lot of rain here and it’s been quite cool so I don’t know when we will get some warmer days so I can wear them!

Does anyone have reference numbers for these white + black toe barellinas from 20C?
Yup... here you go. I just purchased a second pair back in Feb, so I think they are still around. Your SA can hunt them down for you with the code. As FYI, there is also an all white ballet (white cap toe), but I prefer this classic one with the black cap toe.

If you like white with black (I love white with black for summer), the espadrille is awesome. I love it especially for the summer. I also posted a photo as FYI.

Hope this was helpful.

Thank you so much!!

For those ballerinas, are they all the way lambskin or the black toe part is different? I can't remember...:confused1:

Hi! Have you worn the sandals outside yet? We’ve got a warm, sunny day for the first time in weeks so I might try them outside today! I tried them on in the house and I still feel they look a little too big. There is space at the front and back. I’m beginning to wish I’d got my true size and stretched the rope straps out a bit by wearing socks round the house. I wonder if they would give that much?

Impossible to find the beige/black toe version of the slingbacks right now! I have two people working on it for me, we'll see how long it takes. I'm in SoCal.
I'm not sure what you mean by having two people look for you. One boutique SA should be able to search all Chanel boutiques, so maybe you have a boutique SA and a dept store SA (e.g. Saks) looking for you.

If you are not using a Chanel boutique SA, try Bellagio... I've always had good luck there with finding hard to find shoes and the SA will look at the computer. I love the slingbacks and have several pairs. They literally go with everything, from work outfits to skinny jeans.

Another option which I am now beginning to do is call Chanel customer service. Let them know the shoe and your size, and they will actually tell you what stores have it in stock. I then had the option for the store to call me or me to call the store directly. It has worked great for me, and I've used this process three times (once on white with black cap toe slingbacks that were nearly impossible to find).

Good luck to you!

Unfortunately not yet! I didn’t want to wear them to the grocery store so they are still, sadly, waiting in my shoe cabinet. How did you find yours? Did you end up wearing them out? I think it’s usually better to have them looser rather than too tight!
