Hi, I have them in 2 colours and one of them is slightly loser than the other. But if the ropes dig now, they will dig later too specially in the warmer summer months.
I still totally love this style and am considering the beige version this season
Let us know if you go for them.
Thank you. That’s what I thought. I love them so much and was hoping I could make them work. Did you size up?

I am usually a true 38,5 and size up generally in sandals. I took 39 in the rope sandals too.
Thank you. I sized up and received the 39 today but I feel it’s too long. I’m normally a 38. My foot fits in the leather part of the insole perfectly but because of the braided trim around the insole, it looks as if I have a gap at the back. I hate gaps at the back of sandals and because these are very chunky sandals I feel it makes them look too big for me. But I don’t know if maybe the gap is meant to be there because of the braided trim. Does your heel sit flush with the back of the sandal?

Tried these on last week but wasn’t so sure about the rigid soles so I didn’t pull the trigger.. but they just look too cool on and hence my FOMO purchase  Had to hunt my size down and got lucky from calling the customer service line! I just wish they didn’t have the CHANEL logo on the front strap..but love them anyway:heart:

Dear Chanel shoe experts, do these slingbacks come with leather capped version this season? I saw the ones in the boutique but they were fabric caps.
And if not, will these be on sale soon in June? Would hate to pay full price right before sales begin...Thank you.

Hi! I have several of these slingbacks including the classic beige with black cap toe version. I have never seen the beige ones on sale. They are like the beige ballerinas, a regular that does not go on sale. Mine is the classic fabric toe which I really like. Gives it texture and character. I have not seen the beige with a leather toe. I have seasonal colors with the leather toe, but the classic beige I have only seen with the fabric toe.

I would get them while they have your size. Love them.

This is very helpful. Thank you. I have a pair of (skinny) heels w/ leather toes, so I had thought that the slingbacks would have leather toes too...what you said makes perfect sense.

These are the ones I bought! I have really narrow feet but the ropes still hurt so much so I had to size up. I just hope they are comfortable as I can imagine the ropes rubbing my feet to shreds!

Hi all, does anyone have these sandals? I really love the cord material and the colour of them. I can imagine them so well with a neutral light beige outfit, but are they comfortable? I’ve heard about them rubbing the top of the foot. Also, I am not used to chunky sliders so am concerned they might be a bit clunky to walk in and not very practical.

Hi, I ordered these from my Chanel boutique. They are so beautiful but very stiff and uncomfortable! Unfortunately I had to return them.

Yes, they are pretty narrow. I have quite narrow feet, too! I didn’t size up though as the SA said they already looked good on so I trusted her! Have you worn yours out?

No, we’ve not had the weather here for it yet! I NEVER have to size up in any shoes and my true size did look good but I could feel the ropes digging in, and there were red marks on my feet from just trying them on around the boutique. I was so surprised as my feet are extremely narrow. I tried the size bigger and the ropes felt more comfortable but I felt the sandals looked a bit long. My friend thought they looked fine cos my foot fits in the actual leather part and doesn’t go onto the braided trim. I decided to go with that size. Trying them on around the house I do feel the ropes scratching a bit at the side of my feet so I have no idea how bad this could get if I walked around outside in them after a few hours. I have made a lot of mistakes with buying expensive uncomfortable shoes in the past! Have you worn them yet?

Oh no! I was hoping they would be ok as I love them so much! So in what way are they uncomfortable? Do you have a wide or narrow foot? I saw a YouTube review of them and someone said they were very comfortable compared to other sliders that Chanel have made. She said they are a lot lighter and they don’t feel like walking on a block of wood like the others. But then I read some comments that people found the top part cut into their feet until they broke them in a bit. If they are very uncomfortable I’ll definitely be avoiding them as I’ve made too many expensive mistakes in the past!

I have wide feet. I found them to be quite rigid and tbh I didn’t like them enough to want to break in and make them comfortable.
