What is the name of this shoe its beautiful
Sorry, I don’t have the box with me, the receipt says S19 90mm slide with Jet CC GRAY/BLACK

I should mention that I bought these a half size smaller than my regular size. I have only one other pair of Chanel shoes, and those are boots, which are true to size. But in these I went down half a size.

i don’t normally wear heels but felt like these are classic enough to invest in. i wear size 38.5 in quilted flats and bought these in size 38. they are a little tight around the sides of my toes but hoping they will strech soon.

I think you may want to go up a half size. I wear the same size in ballets and slingbacks. Nothing worse than tight shoes... you will never wear them. My slingbacks were super comfy from day one.

Just my two cents.

i originally bought 38.5 and there was a lot of empty space at the back of the shoe and the back strap was falling off. even with 38 i have a small gap at the back.

gah! you were right! they killed my feed today! so many blisters. but i retried 38.5 and they are huge on the back and literally fall of my foot when i walk.

do you think a cobbler can strech out the toebox?

i’m wearing them at home right now with thick pair of socks to strech them.

I personally think a cobbler cannot actually stretch a toebox! shoes can be “stretched” but I doubt the constructed toe box. Good luck.

Ugh. I’m sorry to hear. It will be hard to stretch the toe box and socks are only a temporary fix. And to me... quite frankly, it will look distorted and stretched out. The flow of the shoe will not be smooth and the toe will look wide and “fat” compared to the rest of the shoe. The beauty of the slom line of the shoe will be off. You know how you sometimes see ladies with shoes too tight and the toe box is so stretched out because they forced the fit but now the shoe looks so ugly and fat and distorted? I think your feet will look like they squeezed out the shoe to make it fit and the toe box will look too wide.

I would get a larger pair and have a cobbler shorten the strap. That’s an easy fix and I’ve done that as my heel is skinny and straps always slide off me. The critical fit is the toe box.

Since your shoes are new, can you sell them and recover some money and get a half size up?

I think you will never wear them as they are, and that’s really wasted money, so maybe the bit the bullet. We’ve all had clothing mistakes so not to worry, but at least you will now have a shoe that fits and you love.

Just my two cents. I’d rather make the mistake once, sell the shoe, buy a new shoe that fits properly. Nothing worse than ill fitting shoes, for both comfort and looks.

Good luck!

Oh... by the way, if you do decide and get your usual Chanel size, before you take them to the cobbler, wear them around first. I thought my straps were loose at first, but when I started to walk in them they fit perfect. I can’t stand right shoes, so I just want to let you know don’t judge the fit by trying them on for a few minutes.

Also, maybe try another size 38.5. I have three pairs of slingbacks and each strap fits a tiny bit different and for you that might make the difference.

I wish you good luck. These are such gorgeous and classic shoes.
