I really liked the look. Tried them on. The nude look nice, the black ones honestly, because of these wide horizontal stripes, visually chop up the leg and make legs look shorter, not flattering. I mean, they both do that but al least it is not that obvious in nude.

Thank you for replying, I ordered the beige and will definitely post it when it arrives!

New spring sandals... they come in beige too but I just purchased the red and white.

Ladies, some advice please. I bought a pair of Chanel ballet flats and the SA told me to go to a cobbler for a protective sole on the shoes. Went to the cobbler and he adviced me not to do so, as the soles are very good on the shoes and adviced just to enjoy them and come back when they start to wear (which according to him will be in over a year). What do you ladies do with your ballet flats?

I didn’t put any protective soles on mine, but I live in Scotland so don’t get as much wear out of them as others might. Hope someone else can help you more than I could.

Btw I find the louboutins slippier than the CHANEL ballet flats and have non slip soles on them all.

Let’s NOT talk about the time I slipped down the stairs because my Gucci slippers are SO slippery on the bottom hahaha

I don't think you should get them resoled. Even if you get protective soles, the cobbler is going to have to shave off a portion of the sole anyway, just so the protective sole can fit and be in line with the rest of the shoe. Just enjoy them and use them for what they are.

Alternatively you can buy a Universal Sole Guard, which is basically like a clear film that is used on the shoe: https://soleguardusa.com/collections/for-flats/products/universal-sole-guard

With that method you aren't cutting up the shoe.

I had to get them resole after I wore down the sole. The cobbler informed me that I should have brought it there before I wore them but I had no idea. Cobbler charged me $50 for resole. Expensive but I love my flats!
