What are your thoughts about these loafers? Trying to find that casual classic. The wrinkling seems to be an obvious characteristic of the leather but do you think it makes them look worn? It's calf leather, not hard but not soft like lambskin either. This is the shoe after wearing them around the house

I often go up half a size in Chanel sneakers just for comfort and it doesn’t make such a huge difference that they are suddenly too big - half a size is quite a small difference in sneakers compared to half a size in the other styles. I would definitely try half size up. In my experience sneakers hardly stretch. Another thing you can do is loosen the laces out a lot for the first few wears until your feet get used to them - especially as the length is good.
I agree. The half size in sneakers is more manageable. Also the combat boots can go between half sizes and it works for me. The ballerinas, loafers and slingbacks for me need to fit exactly.

I think they’re beautiful. I have the turnlock loafers and they also crinkle but I like the look

Also, a question. I hadn't purchased Chanel ballerinas for many years. I have many pairs but they are at least 10 years old. ( I wear them rarely). I feel like the ones I just purchased fit a bit differently and are not as comfortable. The toe box seems very shallow. Has anyone else noticed any change in the fit over the years? Thanks.
This is an older post, but yes. Years ago, I think i started buying them in 2001, Chanel ballerinas were made in France. They ran larger, and my SA said to size down one full size bc of stretch (this included length which is not current advice). Some years later, they were made in Italy and they ran smaller. Certain materials make them fit differently. I find boucle fabric ballerinas run normal/TTS or a bit big. Patent toe are a bit problematic for me bc I have a wider ball of foot relative to a narrow heel. Currently, I wear a 37 manolo, 37 Birkenstock, and a 37.5 ballerina if that helps for sake of comparison. I take a 37 Dior almost every model; 38 Chanel espadrille; and, a 37.5 Hermes boot.

Re the crease on the loafers, I am very forgiving of leather, but I would not have purchased loafers that were that creased right out of the box. To me, there is a difference btwn creases rhat form from my wearing a shoe and wrinkled leather that is not intentionally distressed like crumpled calfskin on a reissue. JMO

Late to the party but I got the turn key loafers at Christmas. Last pair and happened to be my size!
I have wide feet but short and a high instep (I think). So I took a 37.
First time I wore them, they were good fit in length and didn’t pinch my tox box area, however, they really bruised the top of my feet - where the flap is and especially where the pieces of leather overlap and the small elastic bit.

I’m hoping they will stretch out over wear and time since the leather is a bit stiff out of the box.

Can't decide which ballerinas to buy... LOVE both the gold/black and the silver/black from 25S, but already have the multi-color iridescent and think those might be too similar, particularly in the silver. I also like the light denim ballerinas from 25P (and think my SA could find for me), so maybe those are a better buy? I mostly wear black, grey and navy with denim (in blue and in black). Any suggestions?? I really only want to buy one pair right now.

I would go with the silver pair based on the colours you say you mostly wear

I had the same dilemma. Also have the multi-color metallic which have silver and since I got the 25C rhinestone sandals, have decided at the moment to get the gold ballerinas 😂

I bought these last year I’m also 37 and when I walked the leather piece on the front of my foot also felt uncomfortable so I decided on 37.5 but I’m worried that now they might be slightly too big for me even though the length felt fine if it rubs it might give me blisters
