Has anyone seen these in store? An SA at my US based store told me the US didn't order them?? 🤔

I am a bit late here but I did buy them in Paris in October. I had seen them at Chanel in Printemps but not in my size. I then went to the Faubourg Saint Honore location (across from Hermes) and while they didn't have them at all in any size, the very helpful sales girl ordered them for me from the shop in Nice. Incredibly they arrived the very next day. She also ordered the ballet flats from several seasons ago that were black cap toe with a bright green/blue leather for me from the Nice store.

Also, a question. I hadn't purchased Chanel ballerinas for many years. I have many pairs but they are at least 10 years old. ( I wear them rarely). I feel like the ones I just purchased fit a bit differently and are not as comfortable. The toe box seems very shallow. Has anyone else noticed any change in the fit over the years? Thanks.

I find the fit really varies depending on the material and the season and some times I need to go half size up. For many other Chanel shoes I actually size down as my feet are long and narrow. The half size up just makes them slightly more comfortable and they don’t slip off. Its also worth checking for the C fit as it’s slightly wider and more comfortable.

Hi everyone
Sorry if there is a better thread for sizing if so please let me know as I can find it. I have small but wide feet. In Dior trainers I wear 37 in sports brands such as Nike and asics a 37.5. I have some LV trainers in a 37.5 and they are too big which resulted in a big crease across the front which I don’t like. I have just bought the chanel runners, the metallic ones in silver and mesh. I got a 37 as they were the only size available. In the store they felt a little tight but fine on length. I have come home and have them on and they are tight on the edges but fine on the length in fact I actually have a bit of room on the length. Does anyone know if I went up 1/2 size would it make a massive difference to the width and so they stretch out? If I went up half a size and they stretched they’d be too big but there are very tight on the sides. Any help appreciated! X

I often go up half a size in Chanel sneakers just for comfort and it doesn’t make such a huge difference that they are suddenly too big - half a size is quite a small difference in sneakers compared to half a size in the other styles. I would definitely try half size up. In my experience sneakers hardly stretch. Another thing you can do is loosen the laces out a lot for the first few wears until your feet get used to them - especially as the length is good.

Hey thanks for the reply, the problem is the 37.5 isn’t available and I’m actually in Abu Dhabi and live in the uk and got them from the mall here. Would you risk keeping the 37 or not? I’ve not had chanel sneakers before so unsure whether to risk it or not as obviously it’s a lot of money!

I guess for me it would depend on the model. If it was an exciting seasonal style I would keep them as it won’t be possible to find them again. If it was a classic looking style and I wasn’t happy with size I would return and wait. For example the black and white sneakers they are constantly repeating and the new designs are always nice
