It started May 19 in Toronto! Everything is out on the racks for the public. Sorry to hear it hasn’t started in the US yet. I’m surprised bc all the good stuff usually happens in the US first.
Just the shoe racks from one of the stores in Toronto (Yorkville). And a robe that I got too.
For US locations, I would suggest you ask your SA’s for details on any items that will be included in pre-sale starting now (last week of May through early June). Chanel boutiques are notorious for saying there is not a sale while one is actually going on (same with Saks and Louboutin) but rarely are items left by the time pre sale changes to sale for them.
For those who do not know - bags and slg’s are not ever included. The twice a year sale is usually 30%-40% off and select (out of season) rtw, shoes, jewelry - sometimes some scarves.
So the question is: Is there am actual pre-sale/sale happening in the US? I wouldn't mind grabbing some shoes....
Typically your SA will contact you for presale but so far it seems there’s no US sale this time.
I am just not certain that is the case... I have been told different things depending on who did the asking... and who did the responding....

All of the contradictory statements I've heard are a bit bewildering and they don't establish trust or goodwill amongst loyal, long established clients.
My Saks SA told me there probably won't be a sale this year for her store, as there wasn't even enough inventory to sell last year, let alone having left overs for a sale. I'm still able to reserve bags, so I'm fairly certain if there was gonna be a sale she wouldn't tell me there wasn't one.

I would get in contact with an SA. Looks like still a week or two out but prior to establishing good relationships with a few, I had walked into the store and had an SA tell me there was no sale while I could literally see the sale items pulled and on a display to the side - when questioned they said, “oh there’s nothing good” … sometimes sale season is fun, others it’s a struggle lol but worth it when you snag something good!
