Hello ladies! Do any of you own this 17k jacket below in either black, pink, or white? Does your jacket have an interior hem chain? Are all Chanel jackets from around 2016/2017 supposed to have one? I was happy to find the jacket new with tags from Vestiaire as I missed out on it years ago. I just want to make sure the one I got is authentic as it’s missing the chain. Are you able to recommend an authentication service? Thank you very much.

I’m so in love with this. i’m holding out for the sale later this year. I’m a little late in discovering the wonderful world of Chanel RTW and jackets in particular. Do the sales happen at the end of the year and do they carry items from earlier in year?
Yeah but classic jackets don’t normally make it to sale. Also, it seems that sas are holding the more coveted items for their vip customers during sale
If it does make to sale I understand it usually takes 18mo- 2 years to go on sale. With reduced production and increase demand will be interesting to see what future Chanel sale stock will look like.
Is there sizing still around ? I’d be surprised if they marked it down. They didn’t mark down some of The white Cruise jackets from 2020 or some of the Egypt jackets either… but of course we never know !

I am still trying to digest the price increases on the bags and I am not even a huge fan of C bags. This year I happened to get two which is highly unusual- I just wanted something lighter and a bit more decorative than my usual B or K. They are nice but nowhere near the quality of H and yet the prices are getting close. I think the jumbo flaps are nearly 10k now, That is, IMHO , a bit much.
I don’t see chanel marking down a versatile, wearable black boucle jacket. Some months ago, my SA told me that they still had some Egypt night time pieces (black sheer dress or coat IDK) on the floor, full retail price. JMO though
Yea surprisingly there is 46. I buy between 42-44 depending on cut but this is so cropped that I thought 46 may give extra length.
I do love the black one with red trim from 21A but price is sooooo high.
This one seems another choice but do not want to buy if it will go on sale in December. Thinking
Yea, jumbo though is huge. I had one and sold it. I think small and medium are more classic but prices went crazy. I bought medium for $5800 in 2019 and have not used it even once, Covid did not help. The same bag is $7800 now. This is before tax.
Each bag has quality issue and I leaned just to not be detailed or check it hard… impossible to find Chanel bag with absolutely no issues.
+1000 may I ask though, which two did you get? After 2008, I basically gave up on chanel bags, but suddenly chanle bags that i though I hated like the 19 and the boy Look appealing . . . I kind of wonder if I’ve been hit on the head
I like some of the chanel bags but the prices are kind of crazy !!! I think some buyers have migrated to Hermes. I hear they are a lot more busy nowadays.
What was the retail price of this one? 7200 USD? It may be a small consolation if you decide to get it, but I try to see it in terms of years of cost per wear.
