The jeans are just awful on me, I might sale them..
the skirt and the shirt are lovely.
The white dress is useful for summer and it goes well with 2015 pre spring blue jacket.
I think it was nice sales season.
I prefer to buy clothes when I can wear them.
Love the summer skirts!
The jeans are so retro- like 880 I remember having something like these jeans in my teens. I know I can’t see them in person on you, but I think that’s exactly how they are supposed to fit. It’s the style you don’t like. Honestly everything looks so chic on you -

love this on you, especially backwards. I tried it on and liked the feel of the material. I think it’s hardier than the soft cashmere we’ve been seeing . There is also a true cardigan (as opposed to this faux one, so I’m going to compare them when my SA brings in my size)

+1000

@bags to die for, I love the fit of the short cardigan on you; it’s very flattering!

I went back to look at Rihanna’s pics. I love the over the top quality of the styling, but the gucci jeans are very mid 1980s, and kind of mom Jean cut. i think I’m of an age where referencing that period makes me wince inside lol. it ruins the whole look for me.
Agree - the sweater is a mid weight cashmere - I like my sweaters big so I sized up 2 sizes. You said you like it best with the letters forward or backwards ? I tried it on with Dior pants my SA brought in which I loved - I justified this sweater by thinking I could wear it like a cardigan with letters in the back for a more casual work look (buttons are beautiful but don’t button all the way open at the bottom)
Then the ransom letters in the front for a more playful - go out for drinks or coffee look- or a weekend look for outside dining in Fall.
It’s very “out of the box” for me but felt lots of CHF when I tried it on

This cashmere is heavy
Beautiful but really too hot here to consider
If I was a skier I would think this could be situationally appropriate with the matching sweater for apres ski lodge wear- I would know but seems like it to me.
The top was quite cropped- and really thick- soft but very warm - too warm when it’s 100+ degrees outside.
Also did not like how the stripes didn’t line up on the side- @ari you with me on this?

Backwards (letters on the back), and I bought black Dior and H pants this season (size. 40 and 38 respectively) to wear with my chanel and Hermes knits. LOVE the Dior pants and the Hermes pants. My SA had me try on a 34 just to see if I liked it. I’m waiting for the right size, so it hangs loosely, probably a 38-40. Here is the faux kidnapping cardigan, (it does not unbutton all the way) size34, worn backwards

I took my sweater in 40- I like sweaters loose so I can layer - but mostly it is for comfort! Love the “Dad cardigan” vibe of this when buttons on the front, and surprise of the “kidnap” letters on the back/front.
The Dior pants were a surprise, as I’m not a big lover of pants, in general, but the fit was perfect. Would love to shop with you - feel like we’d have lots of laughs and conspire on our final choices - but this thread the next best thing.

Would love to shop with you too! i I am wearing a lot of Dior bc the clothes are so much fun and well priced compared to chanel. Highly recommend brunello pants too — they have little hanger appeal but are flattering! am wearing vintage edc 19 today in honor of the day :D

The skirt looks pretty on you, but everything does! Yes, the stripes not lining up would bother me along with the warmth.. and most probably wouldn’t look the same after a couple of hours sitting. However I could see it looking great with the tall boots from Metier D’art, which I bought

Love the pants with the sweater on you, looks very polished!
I’m very glad that you bought the pink jacket, it fits you so well! It doesn’t look too short on you, which was my concern.
Congrats!

Agree- leaning into the pink - which looked nice with the Dior pants I tried with the ransom sweater
Also tried this suit- which I really liked - jacket runs big -I sized down to try it - wide sleeves - which is the style - no buttons - love the skirt with front pockets. It is a bit like things I already have tho- so settled on the ransom sweater (we are twins on that now!!) and the Pigleto pink blazer and the Dior pants
But if someone is looking for a light colored suit - this is very comfortable and very Chanel looking IMO.
Yes, that’s very classic chanel suit! It looks great on you ‘

Yes, the style reminds me of 90 is, but it looked better then..
Thank you!

Thank you - no not too short - was a bit worried the sleeves might be a weird short bracelet length but they were fine- also was worried about the front pocket placement but the pockets didn’t add bulk.
