Good morning Chanel RTW lovers. I want to buy this jacket from 20C and one size down from my usual size is available. Does anyone have it? If yes, can you share please if additional alterations were needed. One size down will work? I love the tweed colors. Thank you in advance.

My SA said shoulders are dropped and not everyone likes it. I have not yet tried it on.

I have seen it in person, but it’s definitely not a dropped shoulder as this summer styles. It’s a raglan sleeve, which is more elaborate and comfortable. It looks to me that it’s a bit oversized. It’s very beautiful color. Sorry I can’t be of help.

Klaneckya, the color of this jacket is just gorgeous. I would agree that one size down would be fine as it appears somewhat oversized like ari had said. I think the jacket would be easy to alter if needed but the size down should really help. What a lovely spring jacket!!

A friend has is. The tweed is beautiful. The color is nice, not so sure about the cut of the jacket. I know these oversized blazers are fashionable, but I don’t like them. I think she sized down.

@880 @ari thank you! coincidentally, I managed to find a try-on pic of me wearing this jacket with dark denim when I tried it on in store. I much prefer it the way Arisa styled it with a hoodie and worn open though. Thank you for posting those pics. I would have never thought to do that but it actually looks good and quite youthful!

@ari have you managed to get some wear out of the skirt? I recall the tweed being pretty shiny but I don’t mind having one piece that’s shiny.

I love the corduroy on this jacket! Be sure to wear it lots and with abandon if you get it. Don't let it languish in your closet waiting for that perfect opportunity.

Yes, I have worn it in summer and winter, but I always try to dress it down.

I love it with the leather jacket! That's very in keeping with the feel of the Egypt collection.

Hi, I tried it on. It is definitely oversized and gorgeous. The shoulders were a little weird on me and it's very boxy.

I ordered this jacket but declined it when it arrived. The tweed and colour was beautiful but I didn’t like the fit on me, the rounded shoulders together with the straight/ boxy fit looked awkward on me. I think you should try it and see how you feel!
