@kipp @nicole0612 @pigleto972001 @gracekelly @brenpanda @chaneljewel @Nana97 @lulilu - thanks so much to each of you. I really appreciate it. We are still technically in lockdown here (apparently the last major city in North America with these levels of restriction) and I am alone working from home all day (my husband works at a hospital), so her sudden passing has really taken a toll on my mental health. I see the posters on this thread as a little community that I am lucky to be a part of and I am grateful for the support

In Chanel news, I managed to pick up the Egypt teal skirt from a reputable consignment store at a very reasonable price. I have to admit that I am far more excited about receiving that skirt than anything in the upcoming F/W collection... It is one size up from what I normally wear - I think a few ladies here own the skirt, so curious to know if it fit TTS? I think the jacket ran a bit small. I am fully planning on pairing the skirt with casual tops and tees as the weather warms up :)

Very exciting !!! The teal skirt is lovely. It was tts for me. A size up could probably make it longer. The jacket was small on me. I am not sure how to pair the skirt and was wondering if anyone had suggestions ! Haha.

Wanted to share some accessories picked up during my last visit. Some casual, spring/summer espadrilles, the classic leather two tone and some cute black flats with lovely pearl detail. Also a scarf/shawl that I can use with my coral jacket and other things to allow me some warmth in chilly mornings on the way to work. I love my H cashmeres for winter but I find the C summer scarves/shawls are light and fluffy and better for warmer tempscoral.JPGspring shoes 2.JPGSpring shoes 3.JPG

Very cute snowball. I love how the scarf matches the pink jacket !!

My 5 top came in ! It fits one size bigger than the tank top I tried in the same size. But I’m happy w it and the fact it is machine washable too! Need to find the right pants to wear with it now (these joggers are new and were the closest to me haha).

This tank is a great basic. I did take it. Love the buttons. It is also possibly coming to the US in cream and white. View attachment 5015050
This looks amazing on you! I have this one too and am waiting for the cardigan (sized down) to come in in my size! I have worn it (and the cardigan with ties sized up to a 40) to death already bc comfy and flattering ! So glad you got it!
@KerriKatherine, I was late catching up and just read about your pup. I am so sorry about your loss. Hugs
@pigleto972001, I just put on my black camo vuori’s. They’re much more comfy than lululemon, athleta and wolford. Silky, soft and light. Thank you

The infamous Vuoris hahahaha! You look great. I like when you combine Chanel jackets with casual wear. It suits you well.

I'm sad for your loss. My pups are my babies and I will be so devastated when they pass.

In terms of the skirt, it will be a simple matter to have it tailored to fit you perfectly. The beauty of Chanel.

Hi @KerriKatherine

Firstly, let me say how sorry I am about the loss of your pup, especially under such trying times.

I have the teal Egypt skirt. It fits true to size. The jacket was a little small and I had to have it altered. Do you have the jacket? I find that the skirt pairs well with a simple cashmere top or an ivory silk blouse. Please show how you style it. I always like to see others’ ideas.

Looks nice with a black top.

Just watched the show and thought it was decent (better than S/S, not as good as Metiers). There were a lot of pretty, wearable pieces (also some !?! furry pieces and curious styling choices), but any purchasing decision will be largely contingent on prices being reasonable. I echo @SPBiaes' comment above about there not being any pieces that I feel like I "have to have". I am relieved to see that there aren't quite as many logos as past seasons.

It's been a really rough few weeks - our beloved pup (the one in my profile pic) fell ill quite suddenly and was in ICU for several days before passing away (due to an unexpectedly adverse reaction to anesthesia). I haven't felt much like doing or buying anything, so I have just been catching up on this thread.

I had to laugh a little at the drama re: Vuori joggers. I *wish* Vuori would pay me to mention them - it would certainly save me some money! I'm a firm believer in styling Chanel pieces in a way that work for you and your lifestyle... they are meant to be worn and enjoyed!
Sending you heartfelt condolences on your sweet and beautiful pup. It's so incredibly hard in the best of conditions, but even more so with Covid. I'm sure you baby is watching over you and sending you love.

Ari, those embroidered denim pants look too little/tight on you, do you think you could have sized up, or return them perhaps? Did they run small on you? They ran long and large according to the chanel advisors. Maybe the black version is super small versus the blue denim or white denim color way.
We are twins on the jeans, yes, they are a bit tight, but they stretch after the first wear. They are lovely and I’m waiting for the blue to come in the boutique. We had horrible weather during the weekend so I’m a bit sloppy..

@pigleto972001 I absolutely looove the pink cardi on you! I was feeling lukewarm about it, but now I want to give it a go once it hits my store!

On a side note, I wanted to get everyone’s opinion regarding this suit I tried. I liked the colour and cut of it, but I’m not a massive fan of the tweed. It doesn’t feel as interesting as any of my other pieces. I really like how the suit looks on me, but I’m wondering if I only like it because I haven’t liked anything at Chanel for a while.

This looks fabulous! The fit is awesome on you as well...it’s light and elegant...but if you dont like the material...there will be more items coming out...just remember cruise is vacation wear...don’t spend the money if you don’t like it, because Not many people are buying Chanel during the pandemic no mater what anyone says. The chanel stores are almost Always nearly empty. The Chanel sales are just around the corner...just saying

I love him and his yt channel! But still, and it pains me to say this, the variety of accessories and imaginations behind are severely lacking in today’s Chanel. From time to time, I still wish to see some outrageous things like supermarket themed chanel milk cartons, or data center themed robot clutch, or spaced themed brooches hahaha. Her Chanel is more about France and Paris (Paris rooftop, south of France, 31 rue cambon, Paris nightclub, French chateau...) Maybe VV is still finding her own vision, or maybe i just have not adjusted to VV’s vision. What I do know is that I have not purchased any accessories (besides hats!) from Chanel in a long time... I have that itch!!:doh::doh::doh:

I think VV's Chanel doesn't have much of a vision outside of being very commercial. She doesn't do the high fantasy stuff that Karl does. I have heard anecdotally that it is working though; VV's Chanel is selling better than Karl's.... Which is pretty hard to believe...
