The dress is gorgeous on you. The shoulders may be a bit too prominent for me but I love the simple elegant style and the pockets are fab.
Hi Moirai. They are both in the chanel vegas store  the sheath dress was I think around 3950. The black coat I can find out

Tanker I love the dress !!!! Very pretty silhouette. Thanks for the pics !!! The neck is not itchy is it ?

Pic of the mohair jacket from my nordies SA. It is more blush than ivory
Thanks! I'm heading to Vegas soon and am tempted to try them on.

Yay! I'll let you know. If you want my SA contact info pm me. I'll send it to you. She has me on a list and sends me updated iPhoto's when new stuff comes in  she's quite nice.
Thank you, pigleto! That's very nice of you :flowers:. I may take you up on your offer. At this point I'm thinking of walking in and looking around first. I forget how many Chanel boutiques are in Vegas. It's been awhile.

Genie: I like it with these two skirts so far. Exactly as you suggested I think. Also over my new knit dress or with my longer pleated Hermes skirt. (I don't have photos of those two.). So I have plenty of options. And I'm trying to not overcrowd my closet with things that aren't perfect. I also prefer it over solid black or navy. Houndstooth head to toe is a bit overwhelming. Note: the pencil skirt is just above the knee. It looks longer in the photo.

So loved this jacket and wish I can buy it too but oh well I will admire on you :) it is gorgeous defknitley great call on adjusting the belt down a bit

The dress is your style exactly. Are you thinking about it?

It is on my radar because it is really my style, but the light color in a long dress is not that practical for my rainy climate. I have a couple of similar dresses from Isabel Marant at under $1k each so I don't have to be worried about wearing them. I have a list of 4 from cruise that are my top picks. One of them is definitely out of my price range though.

Is there a zipper or are they just pull on? I really prefer zippers. It's hard to get a flattering boot shape without a zipper.

I'm definitely not buying the act I two tone boots. I thought I ruined the fabric toe of my slingbacks by scraping them a bit on a chair the other day. Fortunately it doesn't look too bad. But fabric toes and heels are just not practical.

I agree 100%. I prefer patent toe for that reason, though they can be a little less comfortable out the gate.

So I ordered and received the black dress -
A quick review
It falls just above the knee (but I'm 5'8")
It's fairly heavy material
Called Double Crepe
with a full black Camilla silk lining
It has a very 1960s vibe
Could see Jackie in this -
It has an A line, pockets View attachment 3812860View attachment 3812861and hard to photograph but the sides are sewn in three panels that come to point - sort of an outer space "mod" detail
Will be a great go to dress for work
(This is absolutely my last Chanel rtw purchase until Cruise)

This is such an interesting yet useful dress. This is one that looks so much better when worn than on the hanger! There will be a lot of happy people knowing that it falls longer than it appeared at first.

Weird !!!! My Nordstrom person said they didn't order the turtleneck just the dress. I better ask her . Yes that is the dress and it's around 2200.

I think the velcro jacket was a wise choice and it's a classic silhouette that you can have tailor made to remove the velcro. Personally I liked the velcro and would keep it as it was a Karl thing

Not a dumb question ! I believe those are coats ..... but could be used as dresses ? They were worn kind of like them in the show.

I hope there is a zipper. My SA helpfully texted first thing that they hadn't come in yet  haha.
Thanks for the info!!

Does anyone know how much this Mission Control dress is? I want to reach out to my SA about it - but not if it is prohibitive. Thanks!
