The issue with the reissue (haha [emoji23] funny rhyme) is the asymmetrical stitching...usually the stitching goes symmetrical from top to bottom...but here you can see that the stitching begins out of nowhere on the bottom of the bag...
NOTE: I just noticed on google-pics that it is very normal...so I was wrong...sorry for confusing [emoji23][emoji85]
I am thinking of purchasing a preowned reissue from fashionphile. Does anyone mow about the older versions? Any issues with them? I think the quality of the older Chanel bags is better.

I have my so black reissue for just 7 months. I notice there are horizontal lines on the front and the back.
They weren’t there when new. They’re from the crease when I open the flap. But is it considered normal if the lines stay? I am afraid it’s getting worse over time. I try to open by the inner flap so the exterior flap doesn’t get bend/pressure on the lines, like the picture below when the flap is open, but obviously we can tell from seeing the picture it’s not helping much.
If somebody has some tips to prevent the crease from getting worse, please share. Honestly I don’t know whether should I worry or not?

I would be concerned but I am overly picky, especially when I have paid that much for a bag. I returned that exact bag because I was afraid of the durability of the leather. I sitll LOVE the bag. Where did you purchase it, the Chanel Boutique or a department store?
Thank you for your input. I will try to bring to the store and see what they say about it. I just saw somebody post her chanel family picture and one of her reissues also has light crease on the front but less visible than mine. I wonder if it’s a common issue. I love the bag so much. I’m in Europe and I bought it in the boutique
I am looking at buying that bag as well and really don't want to spend the money if I am going to have to deal with issues.
I will. Is your bag the so black chevron too? I wonder if it’s only happen to the chevron because I don’t see the same problem happen to the classic quilt reissue. I browsed a lot and only find a few chevron reissues with that problem. Many pictures are also from unboxing or still new bag. So I also wonder how they are now.
Ugh me too. Mine is new so it hasn’t happened yet but I can see the strain every time I open it.
I can’t wait to become officially a part of the “reissue club”. I am buying preloved but still deciding on the size - 226 vs. 227. I have been browsing modeling photos to see how they look on people and they actually both look good on any frame, it’s just a matter of styling. I have to decide soon!
