Hello all, does anyone own a reissue with black hardware (not ruthenium)? Has it chipped over time? Thanks!

I have the so black mini from 20A and haven’t had any issues.
I have the same soblack chevron mini from 20A as @monkyjib and it hasn't chipped or had any issues. It's one of my "go to" Chanels, since it's durable and easy to use.

I am looking into getting a Reissue but curious for those of you who have had yours for a while, do the diamond quilts lose its puffiness? Also when you fold open your flaps, does it make the quilts look flatter? Sort of like some of the quilts on this bag?

I have two Reissues. Imo, I haven’t noticed either bag lose a lot of their quilt puffiness. Definitely not like your picture shown. Only minor wear. My Metallic Reissue is on my moniker. I have had them since I think about 2011/2012. I don’t use them everyday.
I know I am late to answer but I hope I helped.

This is by far the most helpful set of pics!!! Thank you? Do you love it? How does the leather feel? Thank you so so much for sharing!!!

Agreed! Thank you @BB8 for sharing these.
My pleasure! Hopefully it helps you both and others who are interested in this bag. (Although, I did forget to specify in my post that my camera, for whatever reason, automatically casted onto my bag an orangey tint in the dim light, and a pinkish hue in the bright light: so the bag leans much less to these undertones than what my pictures show. When I moved my focus from the lens to the actual bag, there was a stark difference.)
@OnlyOne The leather is very pliable and carefree, just like my other reissues: feels supple. I actually really do like it, despite its lack of popularity (which I prefer anyway), but the only reason I am still debating is not for lack of love, but because I also just bought the ecru reissue about a week before, and I'm trying (apparently unsuccessfully) to be more minimalist, and curate my bag collection.

You’re definitely not alone…It’s difficult to be a minimalist when you love handbags esp Chanel!
